I'm not a purple girl, but the inner goth is screaming "OMG, this is so awesome!!!" I think it has to do with the fact that I oxidized the silver to a nice gunmetal black, then started burnishing it off with .0000 steel wool to bring out some of the shiny silver underneath. It looks so much better in person... and it's a great pattern I plan to repeat once I get my "real" work done and off my lazy @$$. Whoo!
