Sunday Hoop Club - Jacksons Lane

topic posted Wed, February 20, 2008 - 2:24 AM by
Confirmed dates:

** Sunday 2nd March - I didn't realise this date is Mothers Day so I'm crossing my fingers that folks will come out to play.
** Sunday 6th April
** Sunday 11 May (4th May coincides with a Bank Holiday so Jacksons Lane will be closed)
** Sunday 1 June
** Sunday 6 July

Hoop Club is 2-4pm of hoop playtime. Admission is £5 which includes use of hoops and music system (you can bring your own hoops and music to share if you wish). Full info on my website (www.hoopswhirled.com). This is an opportunity to meet other hoopers and play in a space with a vaulted ceiling and a new sprung floor.

Talking of which, you will need to bring a change of shoes as Jacksons Lane management want to keep the floor as pristine as possible. This also means you can enjoy the spectacle of me and others wandering round with high fibre cloths - rubbing off any streaky hoop scars!!

Hope you are all having a wonderful day.
Quick reminder about the hoop club this afternoon for those who are considering coming along...
It would be great to see you there!

    Hi Everyone!

I've been away for a week's R & R and am back to remind you that the Sunday Hoop Club is happening this Sunday.
No matter what the weather is doing, this is a chance to get hot and sweaty with your hoop in the company of others.

...That makes the event sound soooo much more exotic than it actually is... Oh well.

Studio 1 at Jacksons Lane is a lovely space so please come and share it - I'll bring hoops and music.
Look forward to seeing you there!
    xx

Yay - we had fun with many of us hooping barefoot to try and keep cool.
It would be lovely to see you at the next one (1st June), although that now seems a lo-o-ng way off!
I'm hoping to encourage people out into local park(s) for Sunday hooping on other dates... and if you can make it to any of those that would be great!
