Well, I stepped out in to the garden today with my hoop for the first time since September! It was a disaster. :(
I became dizzy quickly, I lost my centre and my hand/eye coordination has gone to pot!
My garden is a mess and there's no decent flat surface in to practice. WOE IS ME. :)
I need to find my flow! I could do with something new to learn to. Maybe I'm trying to run before I can walk?

Re: Bad Day- Need inspiration!
Tue, April 22, 2008 - 10:16 AMJust take your time and enjoy it rather than putting pressure on yourself.
Go back to basics and ground yourself again - your flow will come back.
As for inspiration, why don't you spend some time looking at the Hooping Video's tribe and see what others have been playing with at the moment.
Good luck!

Re: Bad Day- Need inspiration!
Tue, April 22, 2008 - 1:02 PMGet yourself to an area it's great to hoop in and plug into your favourite music and then just stop trying. Just go with the music doing anything and everything you feel. Even if it's just hooping around your waist for the whole tune. It doesn't matter. Just get joy from moving and listing to the music. -

Tue, April 22, 2008 - 2:16 PMI think "stop trying" is the key!
I pushed back a table in my dining room and things started to come back to me! x -

Tue, April 22, 2008 - 2:38 PMYeah, I agree with skully, just letting the music move you, without trying to get any "tricks' that's the best thing to do! You'll be up and at it in no time at all.
