My first Event

Hi Guy's

Just wanted to share my progress with you all. I think sometimes we under estimate how powerful the Hoop is or maybe should I say as a new comer to the business. I attended a fun day yesterday, where I was given two half an hour slots. Well by the time I started to get the hoops out that was it, I was flooded with kids and some adults I must say who wanted to have a go.

It was very overwhelming and at times I found it hard to contain as the little ones would wonder off with the hoops nearer their mums. When the session had finished they didn't want to put it down. I had mums come back for more also.

The downside for me was that I didn't bring any hoops to sell. I was advised it was a free event geared around fitness and health. The many enquiries I had where kids wanted hoops to take home. It has taught me that next time I'll take x amount with me for people to purchase. However the plus is that I gave out loads of flyers and my contact details so they can contact me.

    Well done Michelle!

The reaction you get from people can be quite overwhelming the first time, especially when it's smaller kids as they are so enthusiastic.

Sounds like you did a great job though, and will hopefully generate some business.

Well done Michelle, that's it now, once you open out into the world there will no stopping you. Always take hoops, hide them in your car if your not allowed, but keep then as flat as possible in this heat!

Well done, Michelle. It can be a bit daunting at these events where people just float in and out. I recommend taking someone to help you, if you can. Makes all the difference, especially when kids decide to wander off with hoops.

Sounds like you did very well - the first one is always the toughest. It gets easier!
