i made an art out of poverty all throughout my twenties and am grateful for those chops in these tight times. funny thing. people falsely assume i have money since i am a book author and make films but truth is, i'm only wealthy in spirit, art and creativity. i have gotten a lot (a lot) of assistance on my many projects from collaborators who pitch in either by working for free or barter or next to nuthin and sometimes, who even donate $$ to the cause they're supporting. there's a lot to be said for making an art out of poverty, in and out of Chapel Perilous
