They do rock! There is so much talent here locally, we are very lucky. Your solos rocked the house too by the way, you are a definite crowd pleaser! Thanks for working so hard to put this all together, I know that it was a huge undertaking, but I think in the end everyone had a truly great time. I'll bet everyone is getting fabulous sleep this week!

Yay for IBDC!

This was a great event Aradia. I think it went over exceptionally well for the first year. :)

Monday night's show was awesome. Ava Fleming's drum solo was to DIE for! SO good! (I want to dance like that someday!)

You and Amira and so many others worked so hard for this event to be a success, I think that you all did a great job. :)

Let's start planning next year!!!! :) (well, ok, maybe we'll take a little time to let y'all breathe first.) :)

Hooray for all our locals who placed in the competitions. Now I hope all the volunteers, Amira, Aradia, and everyone involved gets a nice glass of wine and a cozy bed to snuggle into.

Wow, what a week! The Monday and Tuesday nights shows were amazing! Just amazing! Honestly the Monday night show had such variety and so much talent- it was such a deal! Ava Fleming makes me want to do some caberet again! The Visa issues were unfortunate but the talent we did have there was unmatched! I truly had a fabulous time. I was so proud to have been part of the volunteer team as well. The volunteers worked tirelessly on this event and represented our community with the utmost respect and professionalism.

And it was so wonderful to see so many of our local dancers and troupes represent our community in the shows, open stage and competitions. I was so honored to share the stage with Ethnophonica and represent Vegas in the Tribal Troupe competition and really appreciate everyone's support! I really did feel the love! Just another example of what an amazing dance community we have here in Vegas. So much support for each other and our local events! I'm proud to be a part of it. And I can honestly say that I have never in my life spent so much time in a hotel without actually being a guest of it! But it was well worth it! Thanks also to Aradia and Amira for your amazing energy and hard work in organizing this event.

The Monday show was great, never have we seen so many diverse talents on one stage. Amir Thaleb was a sure crowd pleaser, and Karim Nagi is so adorable I just want to keep him in Vegas!!

Tuesday's show was Tribal legends and featured Daughters of Durga, and Ethnophonica of Las Vegas, 2 very gifted troupes and of course She'enedra and Ultra Gypsy, our 2 workshop instructor teams, they were fabulous on every level!!

Wed was Layla and the Lotus dancers performing thier theater piece called "Elements" I was judging the professional category and missed it, but I heard it was very good, anyone here see it?

Thurs was "Mystic Dreams" Featuring Ava Fleming and Black Opal Dance company, Sadie of Colorado, Hala from SF and Meera honored us with her Bollywood piece, all stunning performers

Friday show was supposed to be Amani who didn't make it into the US, so the day was saved by House of Tarab, aka HOT!! and they are!! That group is so on and professional the music was awesome, and Delilah as usual brought the house down, she has some serious power in her dancing. Earlier that night I performed with the Nino band, as did Layla, Hala and Karen Barbee

Saturday nights show was the Nino band again and Karen Barbee, Angelika Nemeth, Amira and myself, my dance company the Ra dancers opened the night. I'm very proud of my girls, we have only been together for 2 months, and they worked very hard to get ready for the IBDC.
