I hope that you are having a good day. My name is Philip Foster and I am the new moderator for this group. Many of you have already e-mailed me off line expressing your welcome and concern about the status of the group and the lack of conversations, etc that take place here.
First I wanted to let you know that I plan to be an active moderator here in the group. I hope to engage many of you in discussions and invigorate the group with ideas and activity. I welcome you all to participate in the threads as much as possible. There are no dumb questions here… we are all at different stages in the business cycle and we need to respect that in each other. We want everyone to feel comfortable entering and participating (as long as they are not here to SPAM or recruit us for some MLM or get-rich-scheme). If you feel someone is violating this rule, please feel free to contact me privately and I will investigate and take appropriate action as needed.
As a reminder, this is a tribe for anyone who is interested in serious discussions concerning all aspects of business development. It is a place where ideas, inventors, developers, financiers, lawyers and all other human components to start-up new companies Great conversation is always welcome; get rich scams, MLMs, and spam is not. Please keep on topic with the title of this tribe – Idea Factory.
I welcome any suggestions or feedback that you for the group. Above all what would make this group really interesting is the actual participation by its members.

Threads should only be used for discussion – no job listings, items or services for sale, or off the topic of this tribe. Absolutely NO SPAM, MLM, Get-Rich-Quick, etc will be allowed in threads. Such messages will be deleted and you will be booted from the group.
PHOTO ALBUM:
Post a photo of anything you like as long as it’s relevant to the tribe. No get-rich-quick or spam and keep it within Tribe.net’s TOU guidelines.
LISTINGS:
Post all the job listings (or whatever) that you want, but please, no duplicates within 30 days and no MLMs, get-rich-quick or SPAM. If your listing title is in all caps and the only way a person can learn more is to send you a private message – you’re spamming.
EVENTS:
Announce your grand opening, open house, car wash, garage sale, seminar, book signing, or fund raiser! No duplicates within 30 days and no MLMs, get-rich-quick or spam, please.
RECOMMENDED:
Recommendations are great for sharing information on local favorites, service vendors, or whatever… Just finished a good book or know of a great bookstore? Saw a good TV show, movie, band, or play? Just found out about a great website, dentist, computer-repair guy, or restaurant? Create a ‘recommended’ listing and share it with us here! Please, no duplicates within 30 days and no get-rich-quick or spam.

Please do not start job-listing threads unless there are specific facets of the job or its description that you’d like to *discuss*. Use the ‘Listings’ feature for job postings.
If you start a thread that uses vague language, the title is in all CAPS, a person can only learn more by contacting you in a private message, or if it just seems like spam – it will be deleted and you will be sent a private message by the moderator explaining that it ain’t cool. I have *NO* problem reporting you to Tribe.net’s T.O.U. even after *one* violation.
