1. what is it about clowns the interests you?

3. why do you think the phobia of clowns is so predominate?

International Day of the Clown - May First

May 1st. 2008 is "All Clowns Birthday." As everyone knows, all clowns are born on the first of May.

Some believe that the tradition of "First of May" may have begun with Joseph "Joey" Grimaldi. Others believe that it begun with the American circus.
First of May was traditionally the time when circuses made their season run, thus rookie clowns are known as "First of Mays."

Please join me in wishing all clowns a "Happy First Of May."
If you are a clown, remember to celebrate your special day.

Television and video has been one of the most powerful tools of Satan, which has ruined the ethics which sustained our youth and the family unit. With pornography in all its forms, men have been misled and subsequently their women, a whole generation of our youth and their families have been devoured by Satan. We have forgotten about God, the Bible and prayer and have allowed ourselves to go down the road to hell and have fallen into Satan's trap (in other words we are slaves to flesh and our desires). Hedonism is the aim of humanity.

The group that is attempting to rule the world, consists of three member countries, U.S.A, Europe and Japan (3 presidents). Their central control, consists of 32 members (of the 29, 8 are Americans; 9 from Japan; 12 from the European Union (contolled from Belgium/Luxembourg). Head of the 3 member group is Rockefeller (his head quaters is in Rhodes, Greece; his specific influence is in the U.S.A and E.U). Whoever does not obey the orders of this group are murdered. Death is the penalty for disobedience. Another Satanic "club" is called, Bildeberg. They can destroy any government and put a new one together again. They can make a country vanish and create a new one too. 200 members, which include intelligence agencies (CIA; BIA; BND (Ger.); SIB (Ital.); SPELA (Fra.)). There are members who are involved with NATO and hold important positions in the US administration, etc. They hold an extremely harsh stance against the East, especially with Russia because of its Christian Orthodox heritage. They exterminate/demolish any opposition.

An enemy going back thousands of years is head quatered in China (the Himalayas/Tibet). The Seljuks come from that region, who are the ancestors of the Turks, who attacked and oppressed Christian Orthodoxy in Asia Minor and Greece. The Turks/Jews have tried many times to wipe out the Greeks and Christian Orthodoxy. They call the Greeks and Christian Orthodoxy, the people of the "Blue Trigramaton" (which is refering to the Holy Light that emenates from our Lord Jesus Christ's tomb). The roots of martial arts is that region spoken of above. Martial arts are Satanic and anti-Christian and yet has our youth spellbound under the innocent guise of sport/fitness. In the Himalayas there is a glass pyramid (Sambala), it has many entrances. This is where the White Brotherhood is based. It's aim is to destroy all the world's religions except its own. It has more power than the U.S.A. It has more resources at its disposal than all the governments in the world. It has infiltrated and controls many governments and religions (Roman Catholics, Protestants and Judaism). The First and Second World Wars were masterminded by them. They are going to start the Third World War too. The White Brotherhood works with the Bildeberg club and all the others. They are assisted by the Zionists. They created Hitler and introduced the Swastika (broken cross, that is what it means). Hirohito of Japan was responsible for a massive bloodbath, but he was not punished like the others, after the Second World War because he was a member of the world ruling 3 member group mentioned above. Grey Wolves (Turkish Muslims), are connected to the White Brotherhood. Only Grey Wolves members may rule Turkey. They must always mantain a harsh stance against Greece/Christian Orthodoxy (Turgut Ozal, was exterminated for his softer stance).

The White Brotherhood want to destroy the followers of Jesus Christ. They call His followers, bipods or two-legged ones. Their methods are many: thirst, hunger on a worldwide scale. All plants and forests must be destroyed. Wars, so as to ensure maximum slaughter. They refer to humanity as a chicken breeding farm. They destroy humanity with drugs; they have contaminated our drinking water (it has been doctored with medication); our food is also contaminated and our clothes too from the fancy washing powders that we use (that is why everyone is getting ill and they don't know why). Thirst on a worldwide scale, for eg.. Euphrates to be dried up because of Turkey, which will lead to a confrontation with Iran/Syria. Hunger, for eg., Russia was the world's wheat provider, even the U.S.A relied on her. The White Brotherhood ensured that Russia would starve. In Moscow young women give themselves for a plate of food. Homosexuality, the U.S.A being its banner. One can go on and on, but there will be no end then. It is devestating. But do not despair, if you are a follower of our Lord Jesus Christ because He has defeated Satan and the world.

PT Barnum said, " A Clown is a peg upon which to build a circus."
Clowns are very important to the circus. I have seen circuses without clowns, and left with an empty feeling. Other circuses have a comedian as a clown. Even though the comedian was very funny. It was not a clown.

There's nothing more fun then a gaggle of clowns interacting with one another to the delight of the audience.
You may wonder where do clowns come from?
I will tell you. Clowns are born in the circus on May 1st.
Thus, the title of “First of May” is given to a rookie, novice, or beginner clown.

Legend, Myth or Folklore tells us that a clown, in the northern hemisphere is born on May first, since traditionally, that was around the time when circuses begun their yearly tour. May being the beginning of the warm season, leading toward summer.

In the southern hemisphere they were born around the month of August, but even they celebrate May first as “All Clowns Birthday.” Why? Just because, OK?

Now you know the truth behind a “First of May, “ and All Clowns Birthday.

I am shooting a music video Sunday 7/16 in Portola Valley (40 mins south of SF) and need male a clown. No dialogue. Try to woo a girl, fail, launch your acrobats on a mission to get her back. Lots of pointing and jumping up and down.

COULROPHOBIA SCARES CLOWNS

Coulrophobia is a real phobia. It is the fear of clown. But are those who claim to be afraid of clowns, or hate clowns, real?

On January 1, 2006, Alex Waterfield (Columbia News Service) wrote an article on The Orange County Register - Health & Family - segment of the paper titled, "Clowns are no fun for many people."

The article gave a lot of credit to the "ihateclowns.com" website, and it seemed geared to the view of those who hate clowns. Including a group of clown haters from Sarasota, Florida, the circus capital of the world, who are trying to prevent the city from displaying life size statue of clowns, as well as images of clowns.

IT’S IT REAL OR FAKE?

Being a clown a run across those who are truly afraid of clowns, and those who pretend to be afraid of clowns.

COULROPHOBIA SCARES CLOWNS

Those who are victims of Coulrophobia would do their best to get away from the situation, quietly, and without calling attention to themselves. For some, the fear is so great that they would go into convulsion or even faint at the site of a clown.
When I spot a person walking away, head down, in a fast pace, or see that “look” in their eyes, I quickly walk away.

THE FAKERS ARE FAKING IT

Those who are fakers, especially, teenage girls, will yell, scream, shout, and loudly declare how much they hate clowns.

All this they will do to call attention to themselves, and get sympathy from their boyfriends, and/or their group of friends.

Often, when they are alone, away from their friends, these same girls would smile, even kid around with the clown.

Unfortunately, these fakers end up scaring younger kids around them. What they see as a joke, it turns harmful to others.

THE PROBLEM – PARENTS & FRIENDS

Parents / grown-ups are guilty of scaring young ones. Some will force their terrified child to approach a clown, to their own amusement.

Others, thinking they are doing the right thing, bring the crying child closer to the clown, hoping that long exposure will take away the fear. The child feels hopeless, as the parent hold him or her in front of them. This action increases the fear and will have a lasting affect on the child.

Then, there are those who threaten a child by saying that if they do not behave, the clown will come and get them.
Sometimes, so called friends would ask a clown to scare their friend, child or even spouse. Don’t you just love friends like these?

And of course, we have the problem of amateur clowns, often calling themselves professional, who do not know when to back away from a terrified child or adult. Often, they try to impress the parent by trying to win over the child. The result, a parent may have to tell the clown to “GO AWAY!”
Some of these amateur clowns will relentless pursue a fearful grown up, to the laughter of onlookers.
The truth is, a professional clown, especially circus clowns, will not play an embarrassing trick on its audience, or put an individual in a spot where he or she would be humiliated.<br>Good clowns will play these kind of tricks on themselves to the delight of the audience.

WHAT TO DO, WHAT TO DO

I have encountered all these types and more. When a child is afraid, I quickly cover my face; make myself as small as possible and walked away. If the parent insist on bringing the child toward me, and I can’t get away, I get down on my knees, or make myself as small as possible, do not make eye contact, but soothingly tell the child that “I am just as scare.” And that “I will stay right here, I won’t move,” and I keep my head low, looking down.

One of my favorite lines is to tell the child is, “When I was a little clown, I was afraid of children too, but now, thanks to you being nice I can see that children are nice and won’t hurt me.”

If the child calms down, often they do, I tell them the story of “my life” and what it was like to grow up as a clown.

I tell them, “As a baby, my parents knew I was a clown because I spoke funny. When I begun to talk, I talked funny. I always like food that tasted funny. But I bathe everyday, because I did not want to smell funny. And I knew that I did not have to fear dinosaurs or pirates, because everyone knows that dinosaurs do not eat clowns, because clowns taste funny.”

(When I met the person whom became my wife, I knew it was true love because she looked at me funny.)

Even though I get a smile or giggle from the child, who still not too sure about the clown, I don't approach the child. I just wave and back away slowly, allowing the child to choose to shake hands with the clowns a he’s or hers own time.
Often, after watching the clown interact with other kids, this same child will join in the fun, and even hug or shake hands with the clown.

By giving the person, or child, their space and time, they will eventually come around. Or at least be less scared of the clown.

CONCLUTION

Yes, the fear of clowns is real. So, here are some suggestions to clowns.
If the person is truly afraid, the clown should turn away from the individual. If the child is terrified, don’t try to when them over. Walk away, and in a smooth soothing voice let them know that they are safe, that you know that they are afraid and that you are going away. Wave goodbye. If the child waves back, smile and continue to walk away.
Do not make eye contact, if possible, until you’re far away.
If you can’t get away, cover your face, and make yourself small. Even getting down on your knees, to make the child face safe and in control.
You actions will assure that the next this child you meets you or another clown, he or she will feel a bit more comfortable. And you would have given “Clowns” a good name.

On January 1, 2006, Alex Waterfield (Columbia News Service) wrote an article on The Orange County Register - Health & Family - segment of the paper titled, "Clowns are no fun for many people."
The article gave a lot of credit to the "ihateclowns.com" website, and it seemed geared to the view of those who hate clowns. Including a group of clown haters from Sarasota, Florida, the circus capital of the world, who are trying to prevent the city from displaying life size statue of clowns, as well as images of clowns.
Being a clown a run across those who are truly afraid of clowns, and those who pretend to be afraid of clowns.
Those who are victims of Coulrophobia would do their best to get away from the situation, quietly, and with out calling attention to themselves.

Those who are fakers, especially, teenage girls, will yell, scream, shout, and loudly declare how much they hate clowns.
All this they will do to call attention to themselves, and get sympathy from their boyfriends, and/or their group of friends.
Often, when they are alone, away from their friends, these same girls would smile, even kid around with the clown.
Unfortunately, these fakers end up scaring younger kids around them. What they see as a joke, it turns harmful to others.
Parents / grown ups are guilty of scaring young ones. Some will force their terrified child to approach a clown, to their own amusement.

Others, thinking they are doing the right thing, bring the crying child closer to the clown, hoping that long exposure will take away the fear.
Then, there are those who threaten a child by saying that if they do not behave, the clown will come and get them.

I have encountered all these types and more. When a child is afraid, I quickly cover my face; make myself as small as possible and walked away. If the parent insist on bringing the child toward me, and I can’t get away, I get down on my knees, do not make eye contact, but smoothly tell the child that I am just as scare. And that “I will stay right here, I won’t move.” One of my favorite lines is to tell the child that, “When I was a little clown, I was afraid of children too, but now, thanks to you being nice, I can see that children are nice and won’t hurt me.”
If the child calms down, often they do, I tell them the story of “my life” and what it was like to grow up as a clown.
I tell them, that as a baby, my parents knew I was a clown because I spoke funny. When I begun to talk, I talked funny. I always like food that tasted funny. But I bathe everyday, because I did not like to smell funny. And I knew that I did not have to fear dinosaurs or pirates, because everyone knows that dinosaurs do not eat clowns, because clowns taste funny.
