I have the same problem. I am considering going to the Solano Chocolate & Chalk Festival in the hopes of scoring some cotton candy. I keep weighing the idea of trying to park there with the thought of fresh cotton candy.

Have you tried the concession stand near the carousel in Tilden Park? I tried calling them to see if they have any, but they aren't open during the week. Clearly they have the wrong priorities if they aren't anxiously waiting to tell me all about their cotton candy selection.
