I will start teaching classes September 9th at the Big Top at 1638 Clio.
It will be a standing Sunday event.
There are two 1-hour sessions from noon to 2 pm.
The first hour will be Tribal Technique which will include some conditioning drills for personal practice and instruction on the repertoire of moves that we use in our improvisational style.
The second hour will be Tribal Theory and Practice (combination lecture and dancing)during which time we will talk about the history of tribal bellydance, the formations, improvisational techniques and then dance together as improv.
The cost is $15 for Tribal Technique and $25 for both classes.
I'm really excited about this opportunity, It is a GROOVY space and you'll get to see some ever-changing art displays in their gallery of talented artists!
We will also be working towards a performance for December in a student salon.
