Hi everybody, I just thought I would throw this out there. I went to a RESOLVE meeting this morning (it's actually called Open Path in Northern California), this is an organization that helps people to "resolve" their infertility, whether it be through adoption, taking fertility drugs or even deciding not to have kids. It was incredibly inspiring. My husband and I have just started the adoption process, we are working on our homestudy, it's all very excited. I had been kind of insecure about my decision not to take fertility drugs simply because a lot of my friends and family have been encouraging it. After I got out of that meeting I really felt true in my heart that our decision to adopt is right for us. Any opportunity to discuss our feelings is wonderful, this meeting was a great outlet. I finally felt like I was with people who understood what I have been going through. I realize that's this is why I started this group. It has been just over three years that my hubby and I have been trying to conceive. It has not been easy and what has gotten me through it is the incredibly support group I have created for myself. Even thought this tribe has not been very active, thank you all for being here.
