Mark Your Calendars! It's almost time for the

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA LEATHER GATHERING



Celebrating it's Fifth Year Anniversary, SCLG is an outdoor picnic gathering that is open to ALL leather/BDSM-related (leather, bdsm, fetish, kink, motorcycle, bear, etc) groups, organizations, businesses, individuals, etc., and includes ALL gender and sexual orientations.



Fondly referred to as "Leather Day in the Park," SCLG was founded with the aim of providing an opportunity for bdsm and leather folk to interact in a relaxed atmosphere, have fun and raise awareness about the size and diversity of the Leather/BDSM groups that exist in and around Southern California. Groups/clubs are welcome and encouraged to bring their club colors/banners and to provide literature about their groups.



SCLG 2006 has a brand new location! The last four years were held at Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas, CA. This year's gathering will be held much closer to Los Angeles, at the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in South El Monte, CA, just west of the 60/605 interchange.

of N. Santa Anita Ave and N. Durfee Ave.

Parking $4 per vehicle

EVENT GUIDELINES

* Attendees must be 18 or older. Please, no minors!

* No alcohol.

* No solicitation.

* No s/m or b/d play at the event, please.



EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

* Bring your own picnic lunch, beverages, snacks and BYOM! You bring the meat and we BBQ it for you!

* Shmooze, socialize, meet new friends, find out about other organiztions.

* Games and prizes!

* Or just kick back in your lawn chair and have a relaxing day in the park!



SEATING & SHELTER

Lawn chairs and shading (such as tents, shelters umbrellas) are encouraged. Many organizations set up canopy tents or screen houses. See some examples from last year's SCLG photos: www.sclg.org/p05/05/index.htm



ATTIRE

Many folks wear comfortable, casual clothing that you would typically wear to a picnic. Others wear casual leather/fetish clothing which is perfectly acceptable, as long as it is "street legal", meaning: One inch of clothing covering the middle of the rear. The basic rule of thumb is that, if your clothing covers less than what a skimpy bathing suit would cover, you may want to rethink what you will wear.



DIRECTIONS

Take the 60 Freeway.
Off at Santa Anita Ave. exit toward SOUTH EL MONTE.
Left on N. Santa Anita Ave.
Continue until almost the end of the N. Santa Anita Ave
Turn left into driveway with sign that says Group Picnic Area.
Drive to almost the end of the parking lot to find parking nearest Group 1 area.
