Hey fellow Irish Burners,
I see this tribe is a bit quiet, but I just wanted to introduce myself. Recently an ex-virgin hailing from Sligo, but living over in Bristol. Have recently made friends with the UK Euroburner posse at the London Decompression, also met several other Irish burners that night! Contemplating Nowhere 2007 in July with that crowd of mentalists. Been thinking it would be great to organise an Irish burner meet sometime in the spring/summer, I know theres lots of us out there, its just we tend to be a bit quieter than out European cousins. Anyways, say hi back...

Re: Introductions
Thu, December 21, 2006 - 11:04 AMwell I know a few Sligo Burners who have both the will to get involved in something and the time in which to do so! I reckon we should get our thinking caps on for the next few weeks, then maybe put some ideas out there and see what comes back!

Re: Introductions
Thu, February 14, 2008 - 2:59 PMI know its quite a while away, but im probably gunna be moving to Dublin from Auckland, New Zealand in mid october after spending three months in the states road tripping, doing burning man and dpw (properly this time). Glad to see i already know a couple of ya over this way, yo Gina, Diarmo, Drunkennurse (although i dont know if that counts, i swear to god EVERYONE knows drunkennurse) and a bunch of the euro burners that have camped with the burner hostel, chillin with dougaldutch in NZ at the moment.
Been to burning man in 06 and 07, did dpw in 07, but really, i cheated, didnt do it for nearly long enough, so il be back this year to do it right! Done Kiwiburn 07 and 08, rawk the mpw both years. Want to do Nowhere but that will probably have to wait till 09.
Yeeeeehooooo cant wait to party with ya'll drunken idiots. Is there some kind of Irish meet up on the playa? -

Re: Introductions
Sat, February 16, 2008 - 3:58 PMKiwi BOOM was freakin fantastic, good having a burn in your own country where you actually have the time and the recources to make a decent contribution to the event. I heard kiwiburn gives Nowhere a run fer its money ;-). The man exploding wasnt meant to happen.. ooops, luckily it was only dougaldutch that suffered from minor injuries.
