&lt;br/&gt;Once again they will emerge from their hidden locations all over the country to gather in the Capital city, to celebrate and spread their crazy mayhem and harmless havoc. Yes, the Leprechauns are coming - are you?

&lt;br/&gt;November 15th in Dublin, we welcome you.  Volunteering for  
&lt;br/&gt;Decompression is an exciting and rewarding way to immerse yourself in  
&lt;br/&gt;the the Burning Man community here in Ireland, to meet new people and  
&lt;br/&gt;experience something very special.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Of course we need our experienced burners to come out and bring their  
&lt;br/&gt;insight &amp;amp; experience.  But we also want to put the call out there to  
&lt;br/&gt;those new to our community.  If you haven't been to the playa before  
&lt;br/&gt;or interacted with the rest of us here, this is an *excellent* way of  
&lt;br/&gt;getting to know us, what we do, learn about our values and our unique  
&lt;br/&gt;brand of craic!
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;We need enthusiastic volunteers to help with all aspects of our

&lt;br/&gt;I apologise if advertising here causes offence but I am hoping that
&lt;br/&gt;the subject of this podcast will be of sufficient interest to the
&lt;br/&gt;subscribers to this list to warrant inclusion.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I produce the Celtic Myth Podshow (http://celticmythpodshow.com) which
&lt;br/&gt;is a free MP3 download and aims to tell the stories of Celtic
&lt;br/&gt;mythology to its listeners. We have started with the Irish
&lt;br/&gt;Mythological Cycle and aim to cover all of the Six Nations in the
&lt;br/&gt;series. The by-line of the show is "Bringing the Tales and Stories of
&lt;br/&gt;the Ancient Celts to your Fireside" which  is the atmosphere we would
&lt;br/&gt;like to create. The old legends were recounted orally and only written
&lt;br/&gt;down in later years, so by  hearing them told we are getting a step
&lt;br/&gt;closer to their original presentation and hopefull, meaning. That's
&lt;br/&gt;the theory anyway :)  Our website also includes Maps of  Ireland
&lt;br/&gt;with the places mentioned in the stories marked.  Many of these places are
&lt;br/&gt;still exist and are spiritual centres to many people
&lt;br/&gt;You can find these maps in the resources section of the website.

&lt;br/&gt;This is a 100% unashamed plug of the Nowhere Village green meeting on the 19th. taking  place in the awesome space that is the george in Hackney, E london. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; This is gonna be the First year Nowhere has such a meeting and myself and Jess are spearheading the Campaign to get as many of you to come down as possible. This especially includes individuals just finding out about Nowhere or planning on coming for the first time. and even if it looks like you’re not going to Nowhere jobs sucking your fun time away/will have a new little person popping outta you/will be washing lepers in India/are skint/or will most likely be on remand, come along and get inspired for next year.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;As Nowhere is growing and changing so is the way we have to do things. Communications are such an example this year there’s going to be 400 of us on that dusty Spanish hill side, so were looking at ways to get better at helping Nowhere get its messages out to as many of you as possible and vice versa. We now have a dedicated communications team, and a translations team who are translating our newsletters into 7 languages!! Including Esperanto, if William shatners in, then I'm in.

&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;But of course Email is just foreplay.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;That’s why the village green meeting is important for this year. Most of the organising crew will be there, speaking about the way things will work for the projects they are co-ordinating, answering questions, and by their very rock star nature reminding you of how integral participation is to Nowhere.

&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; Information will be provided on all things related to
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Ticketing and pricing
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Local information and how to source materials locally
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Theme Camps
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Volunteering opportunities
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Art and Art Grants
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;The Art of Leaving no Trace
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;And a whole load more juicy informative goodness.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;In keeping with the Village green theme we will be raising some funds to help nowhere this year, by running a bake sale so please bake some cakey goodness which we can sell with a cup of tea or a coffee. Meetings are always better with cake right??

&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;We are having this meeting so that those of you planning on attending nowhere will be able to share that information with your friends planning on coming with you, and eventually with your neighbours on our dusty site in windswept Spain.

&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;It is also a great opportunity to talk to people who are planning on running theme camps, or those looking to start one. Planning an art project that needs help, or looking to share your decor skills with some lucky lucky empty dome? Then I can’t think of a better place to be on a mid April Saturday noon. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;After the meeting we will be showing some films about Nowhere and The crew of burners who left straight from the playa to help with the disaster relief after Katrina in 2005.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; And the Arocalypse crew will be throwing their fundraiser that night in the very same venue so you don’t even have to venture too far for that one
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;  
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Of course we recognise that not everybody lives within easy access of London. Next year we hope to have a few village greens around Europe with regional groups organising local gatherings in their home cities. We will make a decent set of minutes to be available on line.

&lt;br/&gt;Of course if you wanna set up a similar meeting in your neck of the woods for this year then I may just come to you and give you a hand

&lt;br/&gt;I see this tribe is a bit quiet, but I just wanted to introduce myself. Recently an ex-virgin hailing from Sligo, but living over in Bristol. Have recently made friends with the UK Euroburner posse at the London Decompression, also met several other Irish burners that night! Contemplating Nowhere 2007 in July with that crowd of mentalists. Been thinking it would be great to organise an Irish burner meet sometime in the spring/summer, I know theres lots of us out there, its just we tend to be a bit quieter than out European cousins. Anyways, say hi back...&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;br/&gt;habitat loss.  The unprecedented encroachment of humanity and the  
&lt;br/&gt;digging up of their burrows due to the expansion of the road  
&lt;br/&gt;infrstructure has led to more and more urbanisation.  Now, they're  
&lt;br/&gt;starting to organise.
&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;This year, on the Saturday before St. Patrick's day, they will emerge  
&lt;br/&gt;from their hidden locations all over the country to gather in the  
&lt;br/&gt;Capital city, to celebrate and spread their crazy mayhem and harmless  
&lt;br/&gt;havoc.  Yes, the Leprechauns are coming - are you?

&lt;br/&gt;The streets of Dublin will be invaded by the Little Green Men (and  
&lt;br/&gt;Women) SATURDAY MARCH 15th.  Paddarchy will undoubtedly ensue and so  
&lt;br/&gt;the gathering cannot stay in one place for long!  They will have a  
&lt;br/&gt;secret route, to be announced close to the event.

&lt;br/&gt;We're Kay &amp;amp; Mike from Bad Idea Theater.  We'll be visiting Dublin from March 15-19th.  We'd love to meet some Irish Burners or get your advise on what to see &amp;amp; do while we're there.  We've got a hotel, not looking for a place to crash, just looking for advise on making the most of our Irish vacation.  I know we're Americans, but we'll try not to break your country.

&lt;br/&gt;dc burner here.  i also hit nowhere this year...it was my playa substitute as i have been on this side of the world for the last few months.  i am in ireland for a bit yet and would love to catch up with some burner love.  i have been visiting friends and making new ones through couchsurfing and much preferring this mode of travel to the hostel circuit.  i am in galway at the moment...where can i find you?

&lt;br/&gt;The rain is prohibiting my usual activities, so I started playing with this, here's my massage to Burners Without Borders www.burnerswithoutborders.org:

&lt;br/&gt;Hey BWOB, 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I'm in London right now and I'm thinking the flooding here is getting really bad and might be a good poroject for BWOB. I've never volunteered for BWOB, but I just went to NOWHERE (the euro-burn in Spain) and now have a TON of burner friends in London who may be interested. This rain is putting me out of my outdoor work (busking) and even though I'm broke, I got skills (handyman, strong, lots of volunteer coordinating experience, etc.....) and I'm playin with this idea. Whadaya thank? I already put myself on a list with the UK Red Cross, so maybe we could coordinate with them as a group? anyway, just some brainSTORMS (ha ha).

      <title>The Paddy Mirage Fundraiser</title>

&lt;br/&gt;The Paddy Mirage are having a fundraising party on the 8th June in Dublin. Originally it was scheduled to take place on the Jeanie Johnston tall ship, but now it shall be held in the POD club, going from 11pm till late.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;A load of the Paddy Mirage crew will be there, along with plenty of other irish burners. Tickets will be available from Thursday 17th May. Either go visit the guys in Russells in Ranelagh on that evening, as they are having a planning meeting for the burn, or try contacting Mark Staunton directly on 087 3900575 or thepaddymirage@gmail.com.

&lt;br/&gt;All things going to plan, and if the weather holds out, we'll have ourselves a decent wee night.

&lt;br/&gt;Be prepared to spend the whole night out on the beach (i.e. bring some warm clothes, a sleepin bag, and maybe even a tent) as well as all your favourite fire toys and playa accessories!

      <title>Burner gathering and Party this Saturday!</title>

&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;There is a slight change of plan for the IrishBurner gathering on this Saturday 28th April!
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;It seems to be a bad weekend for many of members of the community, and as such we couldn't warrant organising a dedicated venue for the night without the numbers. The plan is now to attend a charity event being thrown at Tailors Hall, Christchurch, in aid of Cancer Care West (www.cancercarewest.ie). Tickets for the event are €25, and its a BYO event. There's a whole host of DJs and live performances planned for the event, and it should be a great night.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;If you fancy coming along, either contact Ian via the www.irishburners.com mailing list for info on tickets, or you can contact the gig organisers directly at charityrave@gmail.com! There still should be a decent Irishburner contingent, and it would be great have as many there as possible!
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Also, if any of you are true pyros and fancy doing some fire-spinning at the event, also get in touch, as they would love to have some more at the event.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;We shall arrange a meeting place shortly before the gig to become acquainted with each other, as many of us are yet to meet!
