The Consort of Isis, Serapis (Ausar-Apis, a combination of Osiris and the Apis Bull), was a god of grain, healing, the mysteries of life and death, and the underworld. He was equated with Zeus, Hades, Dionysos, Asklepios (Aesculapius), and Herakles (Hercules). In the early days of Christianity, it is believed that he was equated with Jesus as well.
All are welcome here, but please be respectful of the opinions and beliefs of others. The origins of Isis (Auset) in ancient Egypt may also be discussed, as well as comparative mythology and how Isis has been experienced in modern times. I highly recommend R.E. Witt's 'Isis in the Ancient World' for more information about the Isiac religion.
