This is a tribe for those interested in the Neo-Zoroastrian pan-Hermetic Sufism of the Master of Illumination Shihabuddin Yahya Suhrawardi, the martyr of Aleppo (d.1191). Relevent are all aspects of the the theosophy of Illumination (ishraq), including the Zoroastrian Sufism of Azar Kayvan (17th C.) and the writings of Henry Corbin (d. 1978) in all its facets and aspects. Tangenital matters relevent to the esotericism of Suhrawardi are also apropos. As Suhrawardi's Illuminationism and Orientalist project are perennial and universal, no confessional or creedal affiliation will be assumed.
