Tue, March 11, 2008 - 8:00 PMAlthough he 'resides' in CA, he travels extensively. A studio, group or organization needs to book him for a workshop between his BDSS, recording and other projects. I hope his instructional DVD is released soon. I was told it is currently being translated into various languages before being released. -

Tue, March 11, 2008 - 8:13 PMHe is a great and generous teacher. It is not prohibitively expensive to book an Issam workshop so long as you can get him in between performances in your area. I had wanted to do it, and then my finances hit the disaster zone. But sometime I would definitely like to get him back in NYC or Long Island.

Wed, March 12, 2008 - 5:56 AMIssam is NOTcoming in the Fall as we had hoped. He will be holding workshops at Ya Halla 2009. The workshops for this year's Ya Halla will be Susu and Tobias.

Wed, January 30, 2008 - 4:22 PMWell I went to the workshop and it was GREAT! I highly reccomend going to one if you can..Anyone that`s been to one will probably say the same....He`s a great teacher aswell as a master musician...good combo...
A special thanx to Issam for giving the workshop.Cheer dude! .All the dancers and drummers that went are raving about it....Good times....Cant hardly wait for another one......should have some pix up soon...
