Is it possible that every stupid forum in the World has HTML and smileys only Tribe - biggest community on the net - doesen`t ??
Without possibility to change font colour, format and size everything very soon becomes boring and every topic looks empty without different colours and different design.
Not to mention smileys which exist in every mail system every forum anywhere. Without smileys all our conversation is more dynamic and emotional. In one word - RICH
Hello - anybody listening? - old tribe stuff promissed to begin with HTML and smileys in groups but it never happened. Aren`t you better then them. Proof it!!
here comes *smiley* and *mad* and off course *swaering* !!!

Re: HTML & smileys
Fri, January 5, 2007 - 10:35 AMOver the years there has a been a lot of debate about whether we should add html and/or other rich formatting to Tribe, and while we agree with users that bold, italics, and underlining would be useful, we also agree with users that we don't want to add loud colors, flashing, super-sized fonts, smileys, or animated icons.
Personally, I'm happy with Tribe the way it is. If I want to smile, I use :). And If I want to emphasize something, I encapsulate it in *'s.
Also, you should know that this tribe isn't being frequented so much anymore... perhaps we should move this to Brainstorm? brainstorm.tribe.net
