Jason's Fire is Fading?

topic posted Thu, February 8, 2007 - 12:57 PM by  Tony
What does this mean Jason? Is this a message? Does anyone else know? I know there was a blog a while back that he posted that seemed kind of down.

Now this?

What is going on Jason?

Sometimes things are tougher than we might like, but keep your head high and know that you are loved. You and Em were a blast to camp with year before last and I know I only visited a couple of times to your camp this last year, but I made it over there because you have the kind of energy I like being around.

I'm not the only one in my camp who loves you so don't forget it.

Tony, thank you for the concern. Honestly.

I guess my fire is fading, this refers to my inner fire and my will to push and fight. My screen name is me being resigned to who I am and my place in this world. There was a day and time when I felt I offered so much to the people around me and these days I feel I only ask for help. I am working through some shit right now but I am working through it. This is all a healthy process. I'll emerge from all of this with a better view and more direction.

And this year Tony, I am doing as little as possible on the playa to allow myself more time with people like you. I spent so little time with friends on the playa this last year. This year is only about my friends and family.

    So hope that explains everything.

Tony, don't worry. The fire will return. Just give him a couple of giant glasses of sangria and a bicycle and he'll be fine!

j, you do more for the people around you than you even know xoxo

Rumor has it that you bring joy to others through music. The blissed out expression [even sober] people get while dancing to your set - *you* make that happen. You've also contributed to my growth as an aspiring dj by exposing me to great music, telling me where to look for more, answering newbie questions (without making fun of me), explaining the business and giving me encouragement/reminders to have fun - even when I was convinced I was in over my head. I'm sure you've done these things for others as well.

You have a lot to offer. More to the point, you generously *choose* to share it. with those around you. Believing otherwise is just stinkin' thinkin'! (waggles finger ;). It can't hurt to be reminded of this - or even thanked once in a while.

      Thank-you!

(and now back to my regularly scheduled record shopping)
