Hello everyone...

FYI, I spoke with Politti Ashcraft, vendor coordinator for Tribal Cafe, today and she will be e-mailing me Jenna's contact information so I can hopefully get ahold of her somehow about the fanveils that have been paid for but not yet received.

We'll see if the phone number is different than Paypal number. I'll try it anyway.

If that doesn't work, I'll send her a message to her address, which should hopefully work. I'll even send her a post-marked return envelope to help facilitate a reply. I agree with Tink that only one person should contact her, as bombarding her with yet more messages probably won't help her answer us any faster. Rest assured I'll let her know about your orders as well as my own. I can mention the Tribe names of all those dancers expecting veils, or if you want to send me specific information in a PM (such as your first name, what you ordered, when you ordered it, when it was paid for, whatever other details you feel are important), that would be even more helpful. I'll write up a status request with the information you provide, along with my own, to send to her. I can e-mail you a copy of the document, if you would like to PM me your e-mail address as well.

I'll keep you all updated on the progress, regardless of whether or not you PM me extra information to send to her. Sound good?

Update 09/19 : Talked to Politti two days ago, sent her my e-mail that day requesting contact info, no response to that e-mail. So I called her again today and she said she didn't have Jenna's info with her, wherever she is, but will get it to me tonight, hopefully, when she has access to her computer.

I've received a couple PMs with order info and I'll also add the two other orders mentioned on this thread to the status-request.

    Will keep you all posted.

I know this is pretty old school, but you could send her a letter in the mail since she has no access to phone or internet. Pretty sure you should be able to see her mailing address and contact information from your original PayPal transaction.

I am so sorry that everything seems to have fallen apart this way, I just can't recommend her products highly enough.

Wishing you all relief from frustration, and speedy resolution to this disconnection.

As Kalilah has stated, there is no address listed on Paypal and the phone number listed on Paypal has been disconnected. However, I did get her registration info from Tribal Cafe and will be both calling AND snail-mailing her. Old fashioned indeed, but if that's the only means we have of communicating with her, it will have to do. :) I'm glad you have had good experience with her. I'm hoping we will all have some resolution pretty soon. I want to be able to recommend her too!

**Last call for status request information!!**

I got the contact info from Politti and will be calling AND snail-mailing within the next couple days...if you want me to ask about your order, PM me the following information:

-what you ordered (length & color, pairs or singles?)
    -when you ordered
-when you paid (and what amount, if you're comfortable sharing)
-name you would like me to reference (otherwise I'll just use your Tribe.net ID)

I'll keep updating on Tribe with progress.

    Update 9/21:

Called Jenna & left a message on her voicemail to call me back if she could in regards to not only mine, but also other dancers' fanveil orders, that we would please like an update on the status of our orders. I will try again later.

Well, its a start and i feel like its progress so i'd like to thank you persia for all the effort you are putting forth on behalf of us.
I do have one pair of her veils and love them so it upsets me that she is having so many problems, i would certainly recommend her if she were accessible
      thanks again persia

    Update 9/26:

I've tried calling in the afternoon and evening Monday 9/24 and Wednesday 9/26 with no luck. It's definitely her number but she apparently isn't available. I will be sending the letter within the next two days. If you send me your order information after the letter goes out, I will put it on my list to speak to her about on the phone (if I can ever get ahold of her), but it obviously won't go into the letter. I'll keep trying.

yep, I too have been ripped off. I purchased mine at the tribal cafe event. I still can't believe this. It is such bad karma. I hope she redeems herself and just fills in the orders and appologizes/ That's what I would do . But I would not be in this situation in the first place.

      Regretfully,
      Jannah

    Update 9/30:

    Called & left another message 9/28, 11am.

Sent package to Jenna via regular mail that included a 3 page letter for pending orders status request with a self-addressed and stamped envelope for her to easily send a reply.

    I'll keep you all posted.

May I suggest that if you don't get a response by mail that you send the next one certified, signature request

Just a thought... signature request is a great idea, but it may be somewhat ineffective in this particular case since Jenna does not live within walking distance to a post office and I imagine that her work schedule will not have her being home when the postman comes. :(

I thought of the signature request or receipt of delivery after I sent the package...but you make a good point. She probably wouldn't be home to sign for it, anyway. : /

I suppose that you could get certified mail or tracking on it, something that does not require a signature but will tell you whether the postal service has delivered it. If you have to send it again, I would do that. However, the tracking service that the USPS offers is, in my experience, practically useless. :(

That just means she has to go to the post office to get it and they get her to sign THEN!

unfortunately, having a signed or a failed to sign envelope could make it easier for anyone who wants to REGRETFULLY have to escalate it.

I know that no one person here wishes her ill of any sort and really truly just wants this made right, regardless of which way right is.

I know that I myself still plan on purchasing from her... at an event.

I wish for a quick resolution to all parties involved.

    Update 10/08:

Called 10/01 at 12:45 pm - left message
Called 10/04/07 at 5:30 pm - She had no answering machine message anymore.
Called 10/08/07 at 12:17pm and got the following message: "At the subscriber's request, this phone does not accept incoming calls."

...I guess she got sick of me trying to get ahold of her. So far, no answer back on the letter either. If she doesn't return a status update with the self-addressed and stamped envelope I provided, it'll be very difficult for me not to conclude that she's blowing us all off. I've done everything I could think of to facilitate the process, above and beyond what a customer should have to do. This is very disappointing.

ya, thank you. I just cant believe that she has a cell phone and she intentially is blowing all off. Wow. This is really starting to become a criminal activity in my book. When you cant even talk to your customers. I really wanted to believe that she would somehow come through. All these other dancers come on and swear they cant believe she would do such a thing and yet we have been dealing with this for a while. For her to actually cut off incoming calls to avoid. wow! ya! Its too bad, I really liked her alot when I met her.

It's sounds like she went into a serious meltdown, and I feel horrible about the whole thing. I ordered over $400 so I would have fans to work with for our dance company, and got them in about 2 months. (Thank the Gods above!). I hope she is able to get her stuff together. She seemed so nice and on top of it back then. Wow. And I feel really, really badly for everyone here who has gone through this. I stuck up for her because my experience was so good back then. But that was then, and this is now. Praying she gets herself turned around cause this is a really bad road to walk... Persia - PM me and if you ever need to borrow some of my fans if we aren't using them for a production, you are more than welcome. This just totally sucks.

ya i understand that people can have bad times. I guess i am just so sour over the whole deal. you know what would even be nice. if she didnt want to talk to anyone, she should get a free web site like geocities and just write a letter on it to all of us letting us know if she is even worried or cares at all. EVen that would make me feel better. its easy as pie, all she has to do is start geocities through her yahoo email and type in what she wants to say then put the web site link on this tribe. just an idea. if i was in her boat and was just completely overwhelmed, I would do that and write how bad I felt. It just seems like when she can actually close her phone to incoming calls and completely ignore, then its like she has no heart at all. just a simple letter with some heart would be nice!

You're welcome, everyone. I'm sorry that nothing came of it. I continue to hope she might post something soon and that those of you who have been waiting for so long might begin to receive your orders. This month maybe...it's going on three months. Maybe she'll be catching up by now. I've decided I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt that she's working to fill these orders right now. Maybe she didn't cut off incoming calls by choice. Or maybe she did because she had to pay for the messages I was leaving. I don't know but I'm going to try to stay optimistic and send good juu-juu that she regains control over her business and her life. I continue to hope for peace, love, and fans.
