Yup, I'll be in the UK Aug 1-18-ish, but alas, the furthest south I'm getting is London.
Dates right now are:

Aug 3 - Suffolk
Aug 9/10 - Dublin, Ireland
Aug 11-14 - JWAAD Summer School, Hertfordshire
Aug 16/7 - North Wales
I have some time between Aug 4-8 if you or someone you know would be able to accommodate me. I know it's weekdays, but if there's interest I'll be happy to update my schedule! :)
I'll also be in Brussels and Paris in November. -

I am extremely intrested in your london date, and of course JWAAD is run by Josephine Wise at Rothschild Manor.
Was just humming and hahhing about whether i'd be able to go there.
Do you have the details for the London date yet? -

Yeah, I know how that happens. Blame the gang in Suffolk, they started this whole thing.
I hope I'll be back in 2008! Fingers crossed!
But, in all honesty, if I have that week free, I'm going to go visit some friends in France. That would be nice!

London is being coordinated by Charlotte Desorgher. We're only having workshops, but I think the details are still being ironed.

She had me teaching at the International Belly Dance Congress at Bognor Regis last Sept!
Innnnteresting place...GREAT people and we (Frederique David) and i had a blast!
At JWAAD's summer school I'm teaching a couple of workshops. Tues & Wed I think.

Yes Borgnor regis is well know for the more Adult weekend Functions, i hope the weather was half decent for you, when i went in june, they had monsoon style rain!

Now I need to get new ones printed up. Dang! All my local photo places want the photographer's signature. He was over here last weekend (he lives in the Bay Area, CA and is dating one of my former students who lives in SC!!!) and I should have just taken him down there and introduced him to the photo people! LOL -

It's good and bad to be booked that far,indeed. However, I'm doing gigs this year that people booked 2 years ago so the contracts have my rates from 2 years ago. ;)
Some sponsors book that far in advance, some don't.
I've unfortunately been in the position of holding a weekend for someone, and then they either cancel the event, or change the date, and I'm left with a weekend I could have been working.
It's been tough in the household because I now plan vacations 1-2 years in advance. I'm just getting the hang of being able to turn down a gig because I need *down* time. Too many years playing with off and on burnout, and having to go AWOL. Now I just schedule my 'mental holidays'.
Some promoters tho I'll make time if I can. You're one of 'em sugar. :)
Okay, I'm lying - it's only cuz you're in Vegas now and I LOOOOOVE Vegas! -
