Re: Woohoo Jim at Rakkasah West!
Sat, March 8, 2008 - 7:01 AM...and I have a few Goth Hips? shirts left! heh heh
Can't wait for my Rakkasah workshops! They're going to be SO much fun.
For all y'all who don't know how I structure my combos classes, it's a combination of drills, technique & phrasing specific to stylized passages of music. MOST exciting, because it's not too dry, not too moist...just yummy chocolatey goodness.
Damn, i have Warm Chocolate Molten Cake on the brain again. Still on Cruise mode!
For those of you used to my Baladi Combos classes, I have a new batch. Very yummy! We work with some basic texture combinations and concepts, then work at creating our own modulations within certain parameters to find our own niche and expression in the music.
Oh, and I only have a FEW of the Jim Boz Signature Finger Cymbals left, unfortunately. I *may* get some before Rakkasah time - Harry is making a new batch. However, first choice goes to people who take my workshops, of course!
Git 'em now - they's hot potatoes! -
