this is what i need:

1) a component which allows me to link in images as i'm writing content. multiple images would be nice, but one is really all i need
2) automatic resizing to certain constraints
3) some very basic layout options, ie align right, left. if supporting multiple images, an option to place images every x words or every x paragraphs would be nice.

this is what would be nice to have:
1) a lightbox style image popup for a zoomed view.

this is what i DON'T need:
1) any kind of gallery or slideshow
2) anything that involves managing images in a seperate screen from content creation.
3) i don't want to drop images into the WYSIWYG editor.

I'm doing a community newspaper site for somebody who knows next to nothing about HTML, so the easier this is the better. Something that works in a similar fashion to wordpress or blogger would be ideal.
