I have always been wary of guides. I had a very rough childhood and adolescence where I was held in contact with the lower astral through the intervention of a "family member". I even had someone put a death spell on me before I was born and saw the thing hovering over me for years especially at night.
The person is still alive and though she is still trying to interfere she cannot anymore. I have grown stronger and her weaker and it just feels like tickling and then desperate.
This person 's power was simply vested it keeping me controlled. Her success came from my failure and she trailed me with perfect cunning and agression.
This was Castaneda's worthy opponent.
It was pretty inert and I managed to kick it on the side but It followed me for many years. I finally had to remove it permanently through the help of an exorcist.
It was done very simply in a natural setting. I had had enough theatrics anyway.
I would be very wary of anything appearing
However, I always had very strong feelings that came in at time and I now realise that it must have been through a guide. I also have been protected from strange occurences such as doors opening during the night and the intruding spirit being greeted by a protector. I felt totally safe and went back to sleep immediately. Only the following morning did I realise how strange this had been.
I still get these strong feelings but now they are associated with a shape that is not malevolent. The form is now shaping .

Also, I am such an independant character and would not obey so that could have kept the phenomenon from unfolding.
My guides, and I am sure that I have at least several, have been very patient with me and I am very grateful for this.

But our guides are only guides, aren't they.
