Re: Campsite Sharing
Fri, June 15, 2007 - 2:00 PMI'm camping with a small group in Creekside this year. I'm not sure if there is extra camp space, but we try to set aside some extra room as community jammin' space so be sure to say hi and make some music.
Creek side is shady and cool during the day, but can be a bit cool at night also........no view of the stage like Concert View, but we did prime CV for 2 years and decided to let someone else have it this year.....so this year it's the forest camp for us:)
namaste,
robert

Re: Campsite Sharing
Fri, June 22, 2007 - 4:54 PMcreekside is a lot of fun. There was this crazy old italian guy that had a big native american drum that people played in a circle. I think his name was mystic.

Re: Campsite Sharing
Wed, August 1, 2007 - 6:46 PMI have a creekside campsite that I'd be willing to share, assuming you have a tent and there is room for it. I'm going to bring a portable covered hammock/tent thingy for myself. (www.hennessyhammock.com/).
The campsites are like 15'x15' according to the official jt webpage.. so there should be room for a not-too-large tent as well as my hammock thingy, I would think.
let me know!

Re: Campsite Sharing
Mon, August 6, 2007 - 11:15 AMCool, get thier early so you can get one in the shade . Look for me when I get thier. I'll chip in around $10 or so depending on how many people on to your camp site. Its a pretty mellow enviroment, last year I thought it would be some sort of wild hippie orgy california drug fest but its really a more mature enviroment. -

Re: Campsite Sharing
Thu, August 9, 2007 - 12:51 PMI am coming up from San Diego by myself and I'm looking for someone to camp with. Can you fit one more in your spot? I am a beginning didge player, really free spirit and open mind. Would be great to have some chill people to hang out with at camp.

Re: Campsite Sharing
Wed, April 16, 2008 - 12:26 AMHi All. I have been interested in coming to this thing since I bought my didge and painted it a couple of years ago. I have the time off work this year so I guess I'll do it. I'll be coming up myself so I would be interested in sharing a campsite too. Im mainly a guitar player and will bring my guitar. I am a beginning didge player and would love to learn more and just share the experience. I'll bring my didge too. The rest of my family and friends don't find the didge THAT exciting to warrant a special trip. LOL. I can either pitch my tent on your site or get my own site and let someone else camp with me there. I don't need a whole site to myself. Who's with me here? Im a cool dude. I think the weekend will be an adventure and lots of fun. -

Re: Campsite Sharing
Wed, April 16, 2008 - 7:24 AMNot sure who will be at what campsites this August Sean, as this is an old thread from last years event. Supposedly campsite and registration will open online sometime in June, so I'm sure folks will start to organize their camping arrangements at that time.
JT is a wonderful time, enjoy!

Re: Campsite Sharing
Mon, July 28, 2008 - 2:30 PMI am going to the JT Didj Fest on Thursday to work... I intend on getting a prime spot at Grinding Acorns... If anyone (chill) wants to join my tent spot, I have plenty of room (it's completely open)
Please email: brotherbrianlove@gmail.com as soon as possible.
If I have room left when the event comes around I will put up a bulliten (if there is a board) at the event.
Peace,

Re: Campsite Sharing
Tue, July 29, 2008 - 4:14 PMany idea where the trailer site is at? -
-
Re: Campsite Sharing
Fri, August 1, 2008 - 1:07 PMRvs and trailers are parked "behind" concert view camping and parking on the hilltop. So, if you are standing on the stage you first see the field, then the vendors/workshop tents, then a hill with campers on top of it.. behind that is where youd be if you had a trailer/rv.
I have spent ten minutes trying to figure out how to explain the layout without drawing it and it escapes me. Hope this helped.
