Howdy Jung-tribeans:
I am currently completing a book looking at Crop Circles from a Jungian perspective (an adaptation of my MA thesis) trying to place this world "dream" into the context of world reality. I look at the science and history of the phenomenon and then move on to consider its fundamental symbols the circle (which is related to what Jung called the Self archetype - that part of us that seeks our growth into greater wholeness) and grain (which is related to the archetypal Feminine - a quality that is both repressed and yet presently emergent in our culture). I believe that Jung, Crop Circles and the Archetypal Feminine are profoundly interrelated to this moment in our history. This book is an attempt to build a framework for reader's consideration of this mysterious phenomenon and its symbols.
At this time, I would love to get feedback from any interested readers. Send me a note and I'll send some of it along to you.
Gee
