I just thought we should switch to a more personal note, since this is a very personal tribe (how many ppl have Jupiter-Moon vibes, anyways?).
So, I just wanna ask each of u how their Moon-Jupiter vibes drive them, and where to, especially. "giggles"
One of the most common interpretations of Jupiter-Moon energy mix I've seen is the need to "expand yourself into the outer world". How does that make u feel? Or DO u feel that, at all?
I, for one, have a Jupiter-Moon conjunction in the 9th, which supposedly brings a very "imaginative mind", though I already have plenty of imagination from my Pisces/Neptune influences.
Other than that, I have a sense of "homelessness", like I don't really belong anywhere, and, subsequently, that I can grow roots just about anywhere.
Ok, enough about me. Ur turn...

Re: Me, myself and Jupiter
Wed, December 19, 2007 - 10:39 AM*Lots of community service - can never say no to such an opportunity if it looks like it is worth doing by someone.
*Working long hours and enjoying the impact I am having and the difference I am making so much that I forget to turn in my time card.
*Lots of international outreach/partnerships including my job right now working for a Native American tribe (yes they are separate nations) and living in the International House in college (pairing American and international students as roommates).
*Jumping in to any philosophical discussion I can find and adding in philosophy where it wasn't asked for.
*I am always, always on the go meeting with people and sharing ideas.
*Giving away donations to various causes - official and unofficial.
*Continually taking more classes or learning new things even though it has been almost 5 years since I graduated from college - it would seem that I almost have an addiction to learning.
"Other than that, I have a sense of "homelessness", like I don't really belong anywhere, and, subsequently, that I can grow roots just about anywhere. "
Me too! I currently am expected for dinner at 3 different places - 4 if you include one of the locations I work at where they have a very strong community/family culture and I am DEFINITELY expected to share lunch with them. I decided to go buy a fancy laptop and carry it around with me because I am visiting on average 3 different locations a day and refuse to stop playing my online MMORP or stop posting on message boards with all my philosophical ideas and all the interesting ideas others have.
Definitely feel I don't quite belong anywhere yet have the desire to explore everywhere. -

Wed, December 19, 2007 - 10:45 AMthat's cool. Sounds like u're using ur Jupiter-Moon vibes in a very positive manner.
Still, don't u have a problem with the homelessness feeling? Or have u just outgrown it? -

Wed, December 19, 2007 - 11:46 AMI guess that what I did (as unpopular as it will sound) is settled me "center" or home in a spiritual place - on Jesus and heaven. -

Re: Me, myself and Jupiter
Wed, December 19, 2007 - 12:05 PMactually, that's where I'm aiming at, as well - becoming a snail. Taking home with me, but that's a little hard to do with my 4th house Saturn. And Jesus isn't here to help me...

Wed, December 19, 2007 - 11:01 AMthank you very much for opening thsi thread,
"One of the most common interpretations of Jupiter-Moon energy mix I've seen is the need to "expand yourself into the outer world". How does that make u feel? Or DO u feel that, at all? "
hell yeah,i think about it a lot.. when i keep in contact with people in this tribe (people from around the world) it gives me a sense of fullfilment to some extent.. of course meeting all the coltures and people is more exciting..
"I, for one, have a Jupiter-Moon conjunction in the 9th, which supposedly brings a very "imaginative mind", though I already have plenty of imagination from my Pisces/Neptune influences."
well neptune have a relation to jupiter as well you can read about it
"Jupiter and Neptune share the rulership of Pisces and represent expansion. Jupiter is more worldly, it's associated with success on the material plane. Yet it also aspires to something more, as shown in its other home sign, Sagittarius. The Archer's arrow is aimed upward, a symbol for adventures of the body and the mind that take us beyond familiar territory. Neptune lives where Jupiter aims to go. It is the planet of the ethers, the all-encompassing world of spirit that contains matter. Neptune has neither aim nor direction. It expands everywhere, dissolving boundaries and barriers of body, mind and soul."

"Other than that, I have a sense of "homelessness", like I don't really belong anywhere, and, subsequently, that I can grow roots just about anywhere."
its like exactly what i wanted to say! hehe
i got moon and jupiter in cancer (exalted i guess) both in the 11th house
so unlike many cancer moons i dont relate to my biological family very much,
im soon-to-be a greenpeace activist, enviormental and animal rights topics occupies and make me angry/worried and most of all i just want to find a solution..
i have few questions as well..
do you find yourself sometimes worried or frustrated that maybe you wont manage to expand yourself to the direction you wanted? if so, what do you do in situation like that? do you change direction or interest or persist on the aim?

Re: Me, myself and Jupiter
Wed, December 19, 2007 - 11:32 AM"Neptune has neither aim nor direction. It expands everywhere, dissolving boundaries and barriers of body, mind and soul." - yep, that's me. The "aimless dissolver"
"Jupiter is religion and Neptune is spirituality. The former has judgment, while the latter does not. Together they can represent religion run amok, or any belief system that perceives itself to be above (or beyond) the law." - Ha-ha! That's so true. The law is a thorn in my side. "no serving drinks to the under-18". I mean, that's crap! It's my liver, and I'll do whatever I want with it!
Seriously now, I do believe age limits have their purpose, but generally speaking I never had any qualms about questioning any laws or social rules. I always filter everything through of my own values and beliefs. And that's the way everyone should be.
"Faith is a beautiful thing when it is wedded to compassion, but Jupiter can be consumed in the flame of its own truth and become indifferent to the suffering of non-believers." - yes, I have both. Love them all, but kill them softly(and swiftly!), if they don't obey! "giggles"
"Unless Neptune is finely attuned to the existence of others, it's possible to become drunk with the power of one's own righteousness. Yet, as always, with compassion real wisdom is possible." - Yikes! That's quite true, also. I've been drunk on my own righteousness for a long time, but am starting to get sober.
""Other than that, I have a sense of "homelessness", like I don't really belong anywhere, and, subsequently, that I can grow roots just about anywhere."

i got moon and jupiter in cancer (exalted i guess) both in the 11th house
so unlike many cancer moons i dont relate to my biological family very much, " - I don't relate to my family at all! But the thing is, for me it's a problem (Neptune in the 4th)
In my childhood, I was quite the spoiled brat of the family, quite attached to them. Then, at about 13 I went in my head (depression), and a year ago I got back to find I no longer have a family.
Dunno if u get me...
Greenpeace activist? That's too cool! How did u decide on that?
Yeah, I'm quite into animals, as well, but I still have my own doubts as to how far we should take their rights...
"do you find yourself sometimes worried or frustrated that maybe you wont manage to expand yourself to the direction you wanted?"
The truth is I haven't yet found that something capable of sustaining my fire long enough for me to start a crusade. And unless it's strong enough to make me wanna go on a crusade, it ain't worth my time and energy.
The thing is I either want too much at the same time, and can't come to a decision(Moon-Mars-Jupiter conjunct in Gemini), or I get caught up in emotional anxieties and get depressed(Sun, Mercury and Venus in Pisces), which hasn't happened in the past year.

Re: Me, myself and Jupiter
Wed, December 19, 2007 - 11:53 AMMaybe I am just supremely blinded, but I think mixing in the moon and the sign cancer gives it that emotional/sensitive/empathic flavor that it needs to stop from being totally overbearing and self-righteous.
I think my downfalls are being annoying to some people, burning myself out, and feeling "out of touch" and alone in some ways. As much as some people have wanted to accuse me of being a religious narrow minded bigot or a self-righteous hippocrite simply because I have strong beliefs/faith and that is what you are supposed to say about people like that...no one ever actually has said that about me to my face.
They'll say I'm out of touch or warn me about burning myself out or get annoyed and act out/lash out at me in other ways (this is not unusual at all actually). But they won't say the stereotypical things they always try to say about strong believers.
That cancer moon and grand water trine are just too sentimental/emotional/sensitive/empathic for anyone to try to say that. In fact, usually they actually say the opposite that I am TOO sentimental and use that as another reason why I am weak/annoying/need to get a clue. -
-
Re: Me, myself and Jupiter
Wed, December 19, 2007 - 12:17 PMGrand water trine? That's great! Dunno about the over-emotionalism...though. I used to be over-emotional, too. But I think my luck was in the preponderance of Mutable signs in my chart, which eventually got me bored of love. Haha.
I'm starting to enjoy playing the un-empathic immature, impervious "cold fish". Why should I always be the one to understand everyone?
In fact, I've realized that I'm not even doing them any good by always showing understanding and maturity. If they don't immediately see my point of view, it clearly means they're far behind on the spiritual chain, so it's best to hit them hard and sharp, make them feel the LACK of understanding.
We always realize how important something is after we no longer have it...and by getting enough of the "bad blood" out of their veins, we might actually enjoy a quiet moment of empathic understanding one day. -

Re: Me, myself and Jupiter
Wed, December 19, 2007 - 2:06 PMsounds to me like you follow your own drumbit.. thats vital and very important, one of the things that took me time to learn..
its realy good when you set your own iron rules inside your head, such as rules wich set your interaction with the enviorment and duties for yourself (and maybe others) -

true that, sensitivity and emotions are important!
