I certainly hope so, cuz we’re giving you more in the span of one week than we ever really thought we’d give in one lifetime! I’m telling you, this whole ukulele thing has grabbed us by the collective creative short-n-curlies and made us want to actually put some work into it! But we’ve never been the types to deny the inner masochist who demands that we persevere, sally forth and enjoy the hell out of it! I mean, after all, look at the people we get to play with!

For example, look at Friday, November 3rd. That night we’ve been invited by Tippy Canoe to join her and a bunch of our other pals from the Ukey Stardust shows – Stella featuring Uke Apocalypse and Amy Zing, 5 Cent Coffee, Uni & Her Ukulele, and Megan Lynch - to perform in the Second Annual Knockout Uke-Out! It’ll be at the Knockout at 3223 Mission Street @ Valencia in San Francisco. There’s an $8 cover.

And then, as if that’s not enough ukulele for the month, 6 days later, on Thursday, November 9th at 9pm, at the Rickshaw Stop at 155 Fell Street at Van Ness in San Francisco, we’re proud to present:

PURPLE RAIN: WHEN UKES CRY

That’s right, the entire Prince album as interpreted by Stella, 5 Cent Coffee, Kitten on the Keys, Koz, and of course, yours truly, Just Henry. Show up early, because there’s going to be a pre-show show, where some of these folks will warm up your ears and your hearts with more aural entertainment.
