Remember earlier this year, when you started hearing the buzz about a bunch of performers taking on an all-ukulele interpretation of some David Bowie album? Yeah, you probably even went to that show. Well, if you've been anywhere near those same folks and their ilk, there's a very good chance you might have heard whisperings of a new project. Well, what you're hearing is true.

At the behest of our fearless leader, Kelly McCubbin, Ukulele Virtuoso Extraordinaire, and First Horseman of the Ukulele Apocalypse, we're proud to announce the debut of yet another tribute to one of the greatest albums of our generation:

PURPLE RAIN: WHEN UKES CRY

Yeah, it's exactly what you think it is. Prince on ukes. (Could this be considered the Second Sign of the Uke Apocalypse?) After all, Prince pretty much struck gold with his awe-inspiring guitar licks that spoke to the youth of 1984, so isn't this timeless music deserving of a tribute by the guitar's tiny little Polynesian cousin? We say hell yes.
