It is these sort of folks who we drew on to perform last year's "Everything' a Dollar in this Box - The Songs of Tom Waits on Cheap Instruments" -- the show turned out to be a hit, and we can thank our musical community of friends for that. From "Uke-y Stardust" to the SF Jugband Festival, we've been lucky enough to be included on the bill with such local luminaries as Tippy Canoe, the Uke Apocalypse, Dogs in Doublets, Hobohemian's Boxcar Band, Just Henry, Liquor Cake, Amy Zing and The Goat Family. Bands were formed, friends were made, projects grew out of projects and eventually, the whole thing had gained a life of its own.
