Vowel, consonant.

Hebrew was consonantal for the most part at the beginning.

Tau numerically is 400, right?
Teth is 9.

I had to get a certain book to look for that.

Really I'm not concerned that Hebrews use a hard tee sound, whereas being
English speaking I started by thinking (and because of the books I read)
a "thuh" sound was there.

Teth is (in that form I mostly studied) associated with a snake.
Also a Lion. Look at the Tarot card. Who is controlling the Lion.
