The hoop, a perfect circle, is the ancient symbol for gnosis (knowledge with wisdom) in many cultures. It is the symbol of infinitude , the Ouroboros- The snake that eats its own tale- The cycles of death and rebirth, and of change within the Whole. Spinning within our hoop's orbit, a homage to the heavens, as reflections of the cosmos, allow for us to become whirling dervishes and link with the harmonic vibrations of the Mind-At-Large. This cosmic dance, mediated with our hoops, is what allows for us to access those little sparks of thought that fuel our existence to connect with others, create change, and live. These momentary reflections within the never-beginning, never-ending Absolute is our spiritual meditation, all accessed to us through our dance. Some call this experience God, some the over-arching Universe or neurons rapidly firing, but for us, the Infinite is a spiritual catharsis created through dance, allowing for the union between past and present, mind and matter, solidity and flux. Hoopdancing, for us, sends a reciprical feedback of vibrations, that manifest our deepest feelings with other-worldly sentience and lay out a field of possibilities for what's to come. This mulit-dimensional recipricality, between music and movement and hoop is the language for the future, which we are helping to create right now. Let us evolve together, for there is so much to create, so much to become, so much to feel. Live, love, and make change with one another!

As is the way of the hoop: What goes around, comes back around. So please, treat the world with the same respect you wish to receive. If we all did this, then we would all be receiving the same beauty and grace we create for others. As hoopdancers, it is our goal to make the world a more conscious and beautiful place, as it promotes an active lifestyle, and is spiritually and ethically wholesome and invigorating. This is just few of many reasons why we, The Kaivalya Hoop Dancers, hoop.
