the above link goes to a recently distilled overview of the eight circuits and one i use in my maybe logic academy course as a reference. this page also addresses some of my perceptions and ideas about how the lower circuits act as "anchors" for the "shocks" of the upper circuits; the lower and higher being equal in value as they serve the larger whole they are expressions of.

Re: a distilled overview of the eight circuits
Sat, September 12, 2009 - 7:33 AMEver considered the connection between the ascension of consciousness through the circuits and the chakras? After reading this overview such seems quite clear as being interlinked. In the sense that I quickly gathered the 8th circuit could almost be considered as "the interplay of the Entity, or inner-self, with the external realm, the ethereal consciousness of dark matter and other Entities.
I recently recovered from a crown chakra, or transcendental, experience and one of the defining qualities was insight as to how we do not merely project and create our own individual experience, but that there is a pervasive structure which is responsive to the being. The journey lasted four months, and another four of recovery, including resolution of understanding implied by my observations, feelings, and thoughts. Almost immediately when returning to a rational state and checking my e-mails and various networking sights I was inspired to check out this space. Hence the thought of how the chakras and circuits of consciousness are connected.
Perhaps I would have been better to start a new thread. Either way, thank you for the accessible overview of the circuits. Now that I am reintegrating with the normal world I plan to pursue my original intentions of taking the angel tech course, as time grants of course.
I look forward to learning more about this unique and logical means for understanding the workings of consciousness.

Well yes, many times. Though there are numerous correlations between chakras and circuits, there are also places where they do not mirror each other. One example is the third chakra and circuit three. This deviation reflects the different relationships that Western and the Eastern cultures have with ego.
The ascension you refer to stems from an ancient HIndu yoga for attaining nirvana and crown chakra guruhood. Though I respect this tradition, my own life and work leans more heavily towards descension and the simultaneous routes of consciousness transubstantiating upwards (ascenson) and substantiating downwards (descension). My consciousness likes to travel on a two-way street.
I think those raised in the Vedic cutlure of the East are more naturally suited to ascension spirituality than those raised in Western civilization. When the Western psyche focuses only an ascension, I think it can lead to delusion and a kind of disembodied spirituality. I discuss this more at length in my new book (author plug here), "THE EIGHT-CIRCUIT BRAIN: Navigational Strategies for the Energetic Body":
