Remember these? I loved them. As a kid, I knew there were references that adults would get, but wasn't sure of many of them. So I looked back at some episodes on youtube to see if I could find any. I haven't the patience right now to watch cartoons, but here's one. There's a mention of Steven (Stephen) Foster, but I don't know who he is. Does anyone?

Tue, July 21, 2009 - 2:04 PMAn old roomate of mine and I would rent Fractured Fairy Tale/Bullwinkle videos if we wanted to have a mellow lazy trip.
We would take a few hits of acid, just stick the tapes in and have them on in the background, while we went on our journey. we would generally have differnt things in all the rooms incase we got bored one place we would migrate to another room or the attic or the backyard. -

Also we would usually only take one or 2 hits when we stayed at home. Suppliment with beer and hits off a bong.
When we went out or would trip in groups or go to concerts it was usually 4 hits. Ok I saw Dolly Parton on 5 hits. It was religious. -

Tue, July 21, 2009 - 10:44 PMWe had a bit of a tolerance build up it seems for acid and ecstasy. Surrounded by people who followed the Dead regularly and having one roomate that was a drug dealer. We always had it. Did it at least 2 times a week. One week we just keep taking it to see what would happen.
