Kathleen kneeling before tiny normal 18th century paniers

This is 5'11" me in front of a dress that belonged to a woman of "normal" height in the 18th century.

She wore huge paniers to court and probably had a headdress on that made her taller - but keep it in mind, ladies, that its all about proportion. If its made to fit, it will look like it fits!
