Hi Guys,
I'm new here, so please excuse my ignorance - is it better to custom order pants, or wait til they're up in the Etsy store?
I <NEEEEEED> some Fluffies.

Re: What's the best way to get pants?!
Wed, June 4, 2008 - 2:32 PMHi ladies!
Im trying to figure out a new system for ordering and getting these to you easier.
Im still pretty DIY and I just cannot order the hundreds of yards of fabric and pay someone to produce these at a faster rate. I would rather keep the quality and creativity aspect of these to my standards for now - that will fall if I hand them out anyway.
So if you want them asap, that probably wont happen unless you see what you want in your size up on etsy - or you make your own. (Im still working on producing that pattern and making it sewable for you who like to sew your own)
Here is ordering info and if you message or email me, I'll get back to you. If for some chance I miss your email, keep bugging me!

How to get the ball rolling........
If you have a color/color combination in mind, I will let you know if a particular color is unavailable. Black, white, ivory are the most available colors at the moment. I will figure out the whole amount for you and send you an invoice through paypal. I happily will mail to Europe via USPS Global Express or Global Priority
You can also send paypal payments and your order through kathleen.crowley@yahoo.com .
I do not take credit cards, but will take checks and money orders.
I prefer using these email addresses: kathleen.crowley@yahoo.com or kc.costumecouture@gmail.com for correspondence as well. Otherwise I cannot be responsible for any mixups should Tribe or Myspace go down. Please make sure that I have your phone number just in case!
Please be sure that I have your name and your stage name as well if the two are different.
As soon as your order comes up in line, I make your
garment ( unless we have discussed another arrangement).I send you your new Rufflies and
you jump up and down for joy!
Because I make each pair by hand and each item of costuming that I make is one of a kind, the timing will vary on delivery unless we discuss this when ordering.
I often get requests for contrasting colored ruffles
and if the fabric is readily available, I will gladly
do this for $15.00 extra.
Feel free to ask questions and inquire about any
other costuming needs you may have need of!

Re: What's the best way to get pants?!
Thu, June 5, 2008 - 7:51 PMKathleen - how long is the wait at this point? -
-
Re: What's the best way to get pants?!
Thu, June 5, 2008 - 11:27 PMIm trying to keep it to 4 weeks or under, but if there is a request for something that Ive had a harder time finding materials for, it will take longer.
Also, as soon as I get caught up, or think I am, I get swamped again with orders or a project of some kind.
Now, Im NOT COMPLAINING!!!! But until I can afford to do this differently, ie hire more help, the wait has sometimes been 2 months or so.
Right now, Im saying 4 weeks and Im getting busy again.
BUT, some of the things I have been offering - the garter shorts and soon, the Sampants, are being sewn up here by elven folk and I can get those out much sooner! The Leg Rufflies will be next in line for the elves unless its a special request.
I hope that helps - I wish I could speed this up for everyone. I can do rush orders for a fee.
Contact me and let me know what exactly you are looking for - I can give you a better idea of the wait time.
Thanks!!!!!!! -

Re: What's the best way to get pants?!
Fri, June 6, 2008 - 1:33 PMI was just wondering how long the tiers of the lace fluffs were? -
-
Re: What's the best way to get pants?!
Fri, June 6, 2008 - 3:24 PMThe lace tiers are between 10 - 11" long. Although that may depend on how tall you are.
Sampants will be $65.00. The little ruffle on those are about 3" at the longest part.
Sampants are not officially launched yet, but they seem to be selling anyway! Unsinkable Molly modeled some for me yesterday and gave me her 2 cents: said they fit great and are super comfy!
And I wont have very many at first, but I can take orders and get them out much faster!!!
Imagine that!
I'll post that I have them for sale and then I'll put them up on www.kathleencrowley.etsy.com
You can also contact me through there if you see something you like but need it in another size or color! -
