I had a thought, because you're having a hard time with the pattern making.
Perhaps you could make a simple tutorial, take pics from each step while you make a pair of your amazing pants, and write a brief explanation. then post it in the photos on your tribe. :)

Re: Tutorial?
Tue, October 20, 2009 - 11:11 PMGreat idea, but methinks you would be paying her to do that. If the patterns were in print, they would not be free either. I've watched her make her garments and believe me, none of them are easy enough to watch and do. Well, at least, not for me. ;} -

Re: Tutorial?
Wed, October 21, 2009 - 11:45 AMThats true about monies, maybe she could put them into a slideshow in pdf format, and then sell them as something downloadable on her etsy shop.
I've made lots of things from Internet tutorials. I think with the easy to understand (think layman's terms) explanations of what you are seeing that tuts are a great way to share info with people. I've even made one or two of my own that I got some really positive feedback form :) -

Re: Tutorial?
Fri, October 23, 2009 - 12:41 PMDoes anyone know how to do the downloadable thing? Im not sure how it works. Its still all about making everything understandable. Kristine Adams will be helping me take photos of how I do things - step by step. And thats a start!
I still want a hands on pattern. I just dont know how a downloadable tutorial could be all that helpful without a pattern to work with. And I have to make this worth my while. Sad but true. Or not sad - but true!
