I was wondering if there was a schedule up online somewhere for performances for Elena's MS benefit Fusion Fest tonight anywhere? I get off of work at 630 and was debating taking time to go home and change clothes and grab my camera, but if something good is going on early in the evening (beside speeches and stuff - not that Elena talking isn't goodstuff, pictures of people talking all look the same though!), I don't want to miss it!!
Plus I read in the Pitch that "1940s dancing" would occur at some point? Being a Lindy Hopper myself (1920s-1950s original swing dancing), I am UTTERLY, DEVASTATINGLY CURIOUS!! Balboa? Shag? Peabody? Blues? Lindy Hop? I MUST KNOW!!! Who's doing/performing it? That alone will give me an idea, as there's only two groups in KC and one in Lawrence with an accurate and diverse historical portfolio.
