I wanted to introduce myself as I'm brand new to the area (and country!) and am hoping to start meeting other dancers in the area. I'm loving my new hometown of Rye and the people but am clueless as to the local dance community and goings-on. I've been performing bellydance for about 32 years (since I was a wee young'un) and am hoping to find a hafla or two within the next few months to dance at and network. Does anyone have any suggestions? I seem to be having a difficult time finding much going on in southeastern England. ? I appreciate any insight you can offer as I'm anxious to start finding "my people." :)
