Workshop: Layering à la Laylia and The Element of Surprise in your performance.
This workshop is for intermediate and advanced belly dancers, but all levels are welcome - you will benefit no matter what your experience or style of dance (tribal or cabaret)! Layering (upon layering), isolations, transitions between moves - all for better improvisational solos and group choreographies. The last hour of the workshop will be a jam session just following Laylia in her dance, which is super fun!
Private or Semi-private Sessions (Sat Aug 15 & Sun Aug 16. 50-min time slots on the hour) Not sure what to cover in a private session? Suggestions: choreographies general or specific), form, audience interaction, performing with flair, or just dance with Laylia and get personalized coaching!
