Each instructor we bring here has her/his own unique way of getting their specialty across. Athena got MEDSOK up to speed on the historical and current trends in Greek belly dance, plus some wonderful candle dancing. I heard nothing but compliments from the folks who came. Here's Athena's note to us on her way home:

Thanks for a great MEDSOK weekend! I couldn't have asked for more....well, except to simply ask for MORE...it was hard to leave all the friendly and smiling faces which made teaching so exhillerating! Everyone involved in the classes, ...show, organization is just so incredibly wonderful! I'm honored to have been invited to teach this material in Louisville, and I hope soon we all find eachother meeting in dance again soon!
