I am proud to announce Tribe Zahrah's Spring Hafla. The girls have come along so well this year. We had a split group this year with a lot of young'uns (6-7 yrs) and then a gap to some 9-10s. The four "Jewels" perform together in the troupe: Opal, Sapphire, Emerald and Ruby each have 4 girls while the other chorus. We have also had the other jewels trade off on zils and drumming - both of which are coming along nicely for such young folk.

May 13th at 6:00 p.m. will be our Spring Hafla before we break for the summer. Riverside Avenue Christian Church in Jacksonville hosts our young troupe with much love and support through the Riverside Avenue Children's Art Center. [Riverside - we can definitely feel the love. Thanks for practicing what you preach!].

The girls enjoyed the year and several performed at various events (of their own choosing as we are primarily "tribe-centered"). Congrats to the participants in the Riverside Arts Gala and to the Talent Show - where the performers were huge hits.
