The Vision of the Emerald Forest is about creating a sustainable way of life in Intentional Communities and EcoVillages around the world, from building Passive Solar Homes that Hug the Earth and fit well into the landscape, to using Solar Power, Wind and Hydro to power them and raising our children in a clean and renewable manner. Each community will be like a Tree. Each Tree will grow up to become a part of the Emerald Forest.

The farther out the better, that's what some folks say. Get the best land, and plan the whole thing through right from the beginning. That's where the real progress will be made.

Using natural and alternative building materials, having good land we can grow our own food on, using what we have learned from the Permaculture Design Course, using composting toilets, putting our water back into the soil. Creating a place where children can grow up happy and well balanced in a natural environment.

We do have a vision to share of a World at Peace and an Earth Restored. We are the Kindred Spirits of the Emerald Forest. And you are welcome to join us.
