Okay, you know I can't resist a bad dirty pun. But really . . . it's awesome! thanks team for all your hard work. But an extra big thanks to our fearless leader for all his hard work. I know it got really really crazy towards the end and Erik had oh, one or two other little things on his mind with the fair coming up, and he did it! We got our zine! Yays!

But seriously. I had one new article idea last night, and I'm just going to throw it out here because I'm still pretty sleep deprived and sun-baked and I don't want to forget it. The idea:
BDSM for Kinky Vegans
No, really. Goth Kitty Jen at Mr. S was telling me they get queries all the time, and there was a pretty active Tribe thread recently on BDSM Newbies. It seems sort of obvious, but if you were a nervous newbie vegan, I can see being really intimidated by oh, just the fact that our whole scene is called the Leather scene! Will you be welcome, will you be able to dress sexy, will there be toys for you? I think it could be a fun little resources article. And I already have my tagline . . .
"It is not just possible but easy to dress sexy and play nasty without harming any living creatures . . . except the ones that beg you for it!"

Considering this was our first issue, I think it went remarkable smoothly - not that there weren't plenty of bumps, internal communication being among them - but people mostly met the deadlines, we came up with things on the fly, and improvised well when we needed to. I think we have a very experienced and professional group of people here, and it showed in how we pulled it together.
Special thanks to Anathema for being such a whiz at organizing the timelines and keeping everyone on schedule. Perhaps we should change your title to Publications Dominatrix?
