I remember back in the day, it was called the Christmas Party, and we all had 'Secret Santas', but what do I know?
All praise the Glorious People's Foodservice Collective!
Sorry, it's late and I'm rambling.
And BTW... on CNN today I saw a piece about the 'most dangerous places to live in America' Richmond? 5th. WTF, kids?

ELEPHANT STEW !
A Yummie Recipe for those Really Big Entertaining Occasions!

Secure one large elephant, clean and cut into small cubes. This will take about 2 months. Put in large kettle and simmer over kerosene heat at 465 degrees for 14 weeks. About an hour before serving, add a few bushels of your favorite vegetables, make gravy and cover. This will feed 36,851 people. If more meat is needed, add 2 rabbits, but ONLY IF NECESSARY, since very few people care for hare in their stew.

* Please note: This is an old East African recipe from back in the time when there were so darn many elephants you couldn't keep them from trampling through your back yard and knocking down your clothesline and smushing your flower beds. Now of course, we try to protect elephants, .. but . . . if one should happen to konk his noggin falling into your swimming pool, and you have no other alternatives, . . well, then the above recipe might be just the ticket.

...And another thing: Have y'all seen the recent spate of Burger King commercials? Plumb damn creepy, if ya ask me. Plastic cheesy half-grinnin' royalty standing behind the tree the lumberjack just cut down--then he pulls a sandwich out of his ass....'meat, on top of meat, on top of meat'. Or catching the winning touchdown pass. Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't make me want to run out to BK and catch a burger. Just sayin'.

Oh, BTW, howdy!
