Q: I have heard of the Dogon, Yoruba, and I have heard of Kemet but I thought they were different things. How are they related? How can they all be the same?
A: There are misconceptions surrounding the Dogon, Yoruba, and Kemet. Kemet is a territory much larger than just Ancient "Egypt" KMT is a determined by value and spiritual system. The Dogon and Yoruba are made up of certain bloodlines, Tribes, and People - DOING THE AF RA KA METAPHYSICAL SYSTEM (KMT), whose job it was to protect the highest knowledge of the universe. The bloodlines are dispersed through Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger and in which some turned into Vodou and IMO why there's so much warring and killing amongst our brothers.
Q: Is this connected to Voodou or Yoruba?
A: Yes the origins of these spiritual systems can be found within the Kemetic Initiation System, but be careful some of these religions were changed into witchcraft or paganism.
*Christianity and European influence played a huge role in the development of Vodou.
The Tree of Life can't be attributed to any one part of Afrika "first" although we know it was used and perfected there before the Middle East, Europe or Asia. For those that read Twi, you will notice a number of Ghanian writers, mostly elders have written some obsure books on the Akan-Kemetic connection. There is already plenty of info about how the Yoruba Priest and Kemetic Priests traded spiritual science.
I do not endorse the superiority of any African family, town, culture or tribe over another. This goes against the African spiritual concept, unfortunately, forgotten during years of the British divide and rule policy.
What this article will show, and the point of this blog is to share the similarities OF cosmic orgins and the Tree of Life, in ALL Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (ALL Africans~Black People)
BUT how some of these changed into Paganism and Witchcraft.
"Voodoo is the Dahomey word for Spirit. It is often spelled as Vodou, or Vodoun - the typical Haitian spelling. *Any spirit found in the natural world is vodou. Voodoo is a derivative of KMT, the world's oldest known AF RA KA religions which have existed in Africa since the beginning of human civilization - civilizations and religions estimated to be over 40,000 years old. Voodoo is a direct descendent of the religions of these ancient civilizations. Vodou originates from the western nations of Africa, primarily from the ancient kingdom of Dahomey, which is now present day Benin. Vodou also came from the peoples of the Kongo as well as the Central African regions, including Bakongo, and the Yoruba of Nigeria."
Yes the Dark path...with that old black magic ...imo these are some of the worst - black people killing black people,
Vodoun (also Voodoo) The religion of Vodoun AND yORUBA as currently practiced bears little resemblance to its ancestral practice. Presently there are an estimated 50 million worshippers worldwide. The central belief of the religion is in spirit possession. Ownership of the gods and which i contribute to black on black crime and murder.
This is an nhoma for, by and about Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans~Black People).
Those of you who are Yoruba, Dogon, Akan, Igbo, Ewe, Fon, Bakongo, Bambara, inianka, Goromantche, Ovambo, Kenesu-Kamau (Nubian-Egyptian) as well as all of us others will benefit from the information as well, being that Amen and the TREE OF LIFE is know by all by different but similar names in our various Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) traditions.
"Once man-god realizes that I AM is not the flesh, or the senses, or the mind, or the intellect: the oppressor [who can only threaten the body, senses, mind, and intellect] looses all power to cause harm." -KMT
Metu Neter:
"We also will see that the religions of Black nations were well acquainted with the dualization (the knowledge of good and evil) of the spirit, and made its unification the foundation of their spiritual tradition." (MA'at)
Bhagavad Gita:
"Use your mighty arms to slay the fierce enemy which is selfish desire."
THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE YORUBA or DOGON PEOPLE, BUT WHAT IS BEING PRACTICED TODAY AS YORUBA RELIGION AND VODOU, IT'S THE SAME THING THAT EGYPT DID TO KEMET AND THE AFRICAN METAPHYSICAL SYSTEM OF THE TREE OF LIFE, MADE 'EM INTO GODS AND SPIRITS, SUPPERSTITIONS, ANIMAL AND HUMAN SACRIFICES, BLODDLETTING - EUROPE DID THIS WITCHERY TO AFRICA AND THE CARIBBEAN DURING SLAVERY...sICkness
This Conditioning happened during slave trade; Voodoo (Vodun) Yoruba, Ifa, Santeria; WITCHERY TRICKOLOGY and deceiving our people, again these are Archetypes of KMT and Africa gone bad - EVIL Superstitions (OR HOW THEY ARE PRACTICED NOW -meaning some could be practicing the Tree of Life through Yoruba or even Chrisitianity for that matter - the matter being, was that there was no matter nor man god nor gods.. but the manifestations of divine -Amen)
tHIS IS wITCHcRAFT
And IMO how brothers and sisters have gone astray, black magick, this is Set-An Satanism trickology -selling each other out, black on black crime and to the death.
"As I reflect upon 'culture' I think about it in regards to the culture and cultures of Original people. Culture is the medium through which a people's knowledge and wisdom continue through space and time. It has been our culture that has served as the drive behind our struggle against colonialism, racism and the continuance of our people into this day and time."
"It is the elements of culture that serve as the catapult for freedom. For within the Nation of Gods and Earths we understand that we can never expel the devilishment (SETH) and influence of the oppressor and have freedom in our cipher unless we bring culture into the cipher and continue to add on to that culture with the world we are looking to bring about. Your culture will empower you and will foster the drive and ability to change and control our destinies. As our people understood, it was and never will be our destiny to be subserviant to external forces."
Voudun is a mixture of our ancient spiritual practices and those who have conquered us (SETH); so like Islam, Egypt, and Christianity those negative cherubs have sneaked in once again and have us giving energy and authority to them. It is best not to worship any Things, People, or Spirits, People, Kemet was not about worshiping deities. Anu is our great great..........the sun and moon are in our veins, part of our DNA. Once we reach the spiritual realm the eloh are there to befreind us not rule us.
Sound created the universe... "YO" of Yoruba is the sound of god "OM" also, music is god AAAMEN
This is Amen (God), and the Source from which all comes. It is also, in the Kamitic spiritual science, the true nature of the hidden God within, which is essentially unconditioned, and which cannot be upset by externals. It is represented at Sphere 0 above the Tree of Life. In the Yoruba tradition, that aspect of God represented by Sphere 0 is called Olodumare. It is also what, as we have seen, the Zulu call the Itongo.
In what ways can the ideas of the Akan, Bantu, and Yoruba be traced back to Ancient Egyptian philosophy?
partial answer to this question:
In a search for the roots of the Yoruba religion one can look to the Kemetians. One has to remember that religion and philosophy are very difficult to separate in some of these early civilizations. What can be deduced from archeological and historic records the Yoruba people migrated from east to west. J. Olumide Lucas in his book The Religion of the Yorubas" traces their history as a civilization back to Egypt. "A chain of evidence leads to the conclusion that they must have settled for many years in that part of the continent known as Ancient Egypt."
In his work Lucas shows that there were similarities in language, religion and customs between these two groups of people.
"Abundant proof of intimate connection between ancient Egyptians and the Yoruba may be produced under this head. Most of the principle gods were well known, at one time, to the Yoruba. Among these gods are Osiris, Isis, Horus, Shu, Sut, Troth, Khepera, Amon, Anu, Khonsu, Khnum, Khopri, Hathor, Sokaris, Ra, Seb, the elemental deities and others. Most of the gods survive in name or in attributes or in both".
In comparing the religions, we find that the Yoruba had a moon deity known as Osu (moon) which is the Egyptian lunar god Khonsu. To find the conclusive proof of this similarity one has to look at the etymological development of the Yoruba language. In the Yoruba language Kh does not exist. By following the consonantŚvowel rules in Yoruba the vowel is dropped and you are left with the word Osu from Khonsu.
If we follow this etymological analysis we find that "Amon exists in Yoruba with the same meaning it has in ancient Egyptian: hidden. The god Amon is one of the first deities known by the Yoruba and the words Mon and Mimon (holy and sacred) are probably derived from the name of that god, according to Lucas. Troth would become To in Yoruba" (Cook, 1974, p. 185).
Following this lead we can see that the development of a monotheistic religion had it roots in the land of Egypt. Although many have claimed that the religion of the Egyptians was polytheistic in fact it was not. Moses even went so far as to declare that Yahweh, like the God of Egypt, was one (Deut. vi.4).
The final cement for an Egyptian and Yoruba connection is the existence of Yoruba hieroglyphics. "To conclude, let us note that Pedrals mentions, on page 107, the Kuso Hill near Ife and the existence of a Kuso Hill in Nubia, near ancient Meroe, west of the Nile 'in the heart of the land of Kush'" From this we can thus consider that a historical connection of facts joins the Egyptian and the Yoruba civilizations together.
AFRIKANS WOULD know that the entites are cherub behind the mask of blood way of life.
what becomes of those who have contracted spirtualy to work with a orisha or lwa and or serve and give power and authority over to them?
Since kemet is the root of thses practice and our anciestors blood run in us whats the difference i see is they used the word worship and not work-with
worship defines as'adoration service, praise
honor our ancestors would mean 'acknowledge, award, venerate,
so whats the difference i learnt the neteru are emanations of divine being, and need not to be wor-ship in flesh or given sacrifices as is required by the orisha and lwa of yoruba & vodou
that animal sacrifice is to close to human sacrifice
When we read the holy tablets we find the lessons & gods of the yoruba & voudun have their own chapters, we have not skipped them; these are cherub biengs, some reptilian in nature & are about power & control who feed off human energy the same way we eat chicken. How does the farmer act when one of his bulls escape? He does whats necessery to get him back to the herd.
KMT
Ta-Nefer Ankh means "World of Beautiful Living", which happens to be our aspiration. We are an organization of members living Kemet Way - the 'Way of Life'. Our endeavor is to create a world of 'optimal life' for everyone and everything. Living the life-style of Kemet Way of course means we are Kemetic, which is similar to one who says he/she is Yoruba, Akan, or Dogon.
Kemet Way is a 'way of life' within the 'African Worldview' like that of Yoruba, Akan, or Dogon; however it is much older than the others and we, African people through the vicissitudes of racism and wars for White-Supremacy have been disconnected from our civilizations. Via Ta-Nefer Ankh we are reconnecting to the current of African civilization, particularly that of Kemet, and pursuing 'optimal living' by creating Kemet-centered communities wherever we happen to live.
What Does Being Kemetic Mean?
Being Kemetic means living a life in harmony and syncretism with creation, endeavoring to achieve 'optimal life' for everyone and everything; sharing abundance, being life-creating and life-sustaining in all relationships, achieving expansion and growth through unity, cooperation and collaboration; and endeavoring to transform the world into a global-society living the 'way of life'.
Being Kemetic means we, like our ancestors, espouse the world view that we are descendents of the creator - Amen (Atum) and are responsible to creation by living a life that is life-creating and life-sustaining.
Most of the West African and Eastern tribes passed through KMT (remember how important the Nile was in this region); The Yorubas, Igbos, Ijaws, Efiks, Fantes, Twi, Nagos and so many others, belong to the Kwa Language speaking group. In this group the dominant usages of "Ka", Kh" and "Kw" indicate common linguistic source in Kemet - In the Yoruba language Kh does not exist. By following the consonantŚvowel rules in Yoruba the vowel is dropped and you are left with the word Osu from Khonsu (Heru). The god Amon is one of the first deities known by the Yoruba and the words Mon and Mimon (holy and sacred) are probably derived from the name of that god, Troth would become To in Yoruba"
The ancient Kemetian religion was practiced throughout East Africa (in Sudan, Ethiopia, and Eritrea, as well aka Egypt)
The ancient Yoruba were one of the most accommodating and the most adventurous people on earth. They were the explorers who went beyond their surroundings. They were the traders who exchanged goods and services. They were the Aromires (sea friendly admirals) and the Olokos (boat owners) who went on 12 months voyage by Irawo-oko (canoe-star), ships, as elephant warriors and priests. They traveled north and south of the Nile, Mesopotamia, from one coast to another, to Asia, Australia and the Americas. Africans were known in Americas before Columbus: Washita in Mississippi Valley 6000 B.C, the Caribs of the West Indies. We all agreed that mankind started from Africa
Many Yoruba do not know where the name came from. Every Ethnic group in Nigeria (their cousins) has taken that advantage to interpret the name, Yoruba. Even before they came in contact with one another, in the recent past.
Combination of OYO and OBA gives YORUBA: O YO-OBA, O YO-ROBA,O YO-RUBA
O YO RA BA IMO these are the sounds of god; Music and the drums

Re: Yoruba, Dogon, Egypt: Vodou That They Doo doo

Christianity and European influence played a role in the development of Vodou. During the French occupation of Haiti, the rulers of France answered to the Roman Catholic Church, which barley recognized African slaves as human beings.
A set of laws called the Code Noir or Black Codes spelled out not only how slaves would be treated, but stipulated that all should be baptized and instructed in the Catholic Faith.
Over time, the Africans began using Catholicism as a means to mask their religious practices at first, but then but then became pure evil evil. There were no Gods to worship in Africa, nor sacrifice.
This is how the syncretism or perceived assimilation of African deities with Catholic saints developed.
"The Africans incorporated Catholic prayers into their services and used images of Catholic Saints as representations of their Spirits."
These were actually "MYTHS" and the evil pagans (Western Christianity is a hostile takeover of TRUE African spirituality, told conditioned them that there were deities, and this where you get the Evil propaganda of Voodun and how black folks have been white washed.
Santeria
Literally Òworship of the saints,Ó a syncretism of traditional African religion with Roman Catholicism created when African slaves were introduced to the Caribbeanand forced to accept Chrisitanity. Elements include animal and human sacrifice, etc
It is time for all people of African descent (means all of us) to reclaim and understand our true historical link to Spirituality and our divine goddess - she was a healer.
The terms "witch" and "wise woman" actually had their origins in ancient Kemet Wadj (or Uadj) is a Kemetic word meaning "power, health, green, water." A wadj scepter represents a tied bundle of herbs for health and prosperity. A variant of the word is Udja (pronounced WOO-jah), where the term Ouija board is also derived from.
The Mdw Ntr (hieroglyphic symbol) is believed by many to actually represent a mortar and pestle. Another variant is Ujdat (WOO-chaht), the name for the protective amulet representing the Eye of Heru, which is comprised of the protective psychic/magical energies of Wadjet and her sister Nekehebet (who are actually Ast/Isis and her sister Neb-t Het). Wadjet (Uadjet, Uachet) is a term for a strong divine woman woman who can suddenly bend energy for healing.
Much of the Yoruba language and traditions can be traced directly to Kemet. Aje (ah-JZAY) is a Yoruba term meaning witch. The Aje is an energy like Wadjet. The Aje are symbolized as birds, who lovingly, fiercely protect their queen.
Anglo-Saxons claim the word witch came from wicca. However, an early, older variant of the word in their language was wicce, pronounced "weecha." Wicce meant a wise woman/wise man healer.
Wadjet. Weecha. Witch.
Also for the record, the Kemetic term for wise woman, "Rekhut, Rekhuit, Rekhit, Rekhat," (SEE Where Reiki really comes from) means "skilled in words, knowledge, and craft." The Mdw Ntr (or hieroglyphics) are comprised of a mouth (Re), a placenta (kh sound like the "ch" in "chutzpah") and a bread loaf (t) indicating a female. The Rekhut was believed to have mastery of and work with the Uadj energy. Rekhut was also a name for Ast (Isis), recognized and honored today as the Goddess because she represents the ultimate female healer.
the Witch is really a healer
The pentagram is actually Sepdet, the star of Ast, held within a protective shen.
With this rich history and prophecy of hope based on the strength of goddesses it is sorrowful
that people have fearfully turned against their own power of her source that will heal humanity....
The Witch is really a healer.... the Mother goddess was know as Auset (not a person or deity, but divine emanation -

"In their attempts to dissociate themselves from Satanism, Wiccans have tended to distort their own history. Wicca and Satanism are indeed very distinct religious categories. But there are some intimate historical ties between the two, as even some Wiccan scholars are finally starting to admit. See, for example, Aidan Kelly's book Crafting the Art of Magic (pp.21-22, 25-26, and 176).
Wicca is not "the Old Religion" (KMT), though it does draw inspiration from various old religions. Wicca as we now know it is derived from 19th-century occult philosophy -- including literary Satanic philosophy, among others -- projected onto a non-Christian Goddess and God, plus some de-Christianized Golden Dawn style ceremonial magick, plus assorted turn-of-the-century British folklore, more recently re-shaped by neo-Pagan scholarship and by modern feminist and ecological concerns. At least several different sides of Wicca's convoluted family tree can be traced to 19th-century literary Satanism, some forms of which had more in common with present-day Wicca than with present-day Satanism." -

4000 to 1000 BC
Ancient African civilizations of the Nile Valley are established & flourish.
Ancient Egyptians traced their origins to the Mount Rwenzori range in East Africa known as "the Mountains of the Moon" (see Hum 211 African Film description of the movie by that title), and some accounts to "Ethiopia," a term variously designating land south of Egypt (the Upper Nile Valley), or the entire African continent. Thus, Nubia, Egypt’s southern neighbor with its own civilization, probably preceded ancient Egyptian (Kemet) civilization.
By 2500 BC
Centers of early civilization flourish in Mesopotamia, Egypt, northeastern India, and northern China.
2900 to 2280 BC
Old Kingdom of ancient Egypt & Upper Nile. Old Kingdom-era master architect Imhotep was also chief physician, prime minister, teacher, philosopher, priest & astronomer. Equated by the Greeks with their god of healing, Imhotep is regarded by many as the father of medicine.
ca. 2300- 2100 BC
Heliopolis Creation Narrative of the Kemetic priests of On, and the Memphite Declaration of the Deities (carved on a granite slab carving at the order of Nubian King Shabaka, ca. 710 BCE, recopied from earlier papyrus version), are the earliest written human accounts of creation.
In the Memphis theology, the deity Ptah unites "heart and tongue" to create all "through utterance"—the spoken word. Creation narratives are found throughout Africa passed down through across centuries and generations through oral traditions (Asante and Abarry 12-13).
2280 - 2060 BC
First Internediate Period in Ancient Egypt history.
2060 - 1785 BC
The Middle Kingdom of ancient Egypt & Upper Nile.
1785 - 1580 BC
Second Intermediate Period in Ancient Egypt history.
1580 - 1085 BC
The New Kingdom.
1085 - 658 BC
Period of decline of the Ancient Egyptian Kingdom starting appr. with the 21st Dynasty until the 25th Dynasty. Follows a Saitic Period and a Persian Period.
ca. 1000 - 800 BC
Bantu ("the people") migration spreads through sub-Saharan Africa (Africa south of the Sahara Desert), over some 2,000 years.
Bantu, a linguistically related group of about 60 million people living in equatorial and southern Africa, probably originated in West Africa, migrating downward gradually into southern Africa. The Bantu migration was one of the largest in human history.
The cause of this movement is uncertain, but is believed related to population increase, a result of the introduction of new crops, such as the banana (native to south Asia), allowing more efficient food production.
Societies typically depended on subsistence agriculture or, in the savannas, pastoral pursuits. Political organization was normally local, although large kingdoms would later develop in western and central Africa.
Early in their history, the Bantu split into two major linguistic branches—the Eastern and Western Bantu. The Eastern Bantu migrated through present-day Zimbabwe and Mozambique, down to South Africa. The Western Bantu moved into what is now Angola, Namibia, and northwestern Botswana.
Today, among the Bantu language groups, the most widely spoken Bantu-derived language is Arab-influenced Swahili, which is used as a lingua franca (a language used in common by different peoples to facilitate commerce and trade) by up to 50 million speakers on the eastern coast of Africa.
Ethnic groups descended from the Bantu include the Shona, the Xhosa, the Kikuyu, and the Zulu, of the Eastern Bantu language branch; and the Herero and Tonga peoples, of the Western Bantu language branch.
750 – 600 BC
Kush or Nubia (upper or southern reaches of Nile River) rules Egypt from capital Meroe; with metal technology, widened economic influence in sub-Saharan Africa.
500 BC
Ancient Nok culture thrives in forests of central Nigeria (to CE 200). Ancestors claimed by the Yoruba peoples, the Nok are justly revered for their art and terra cottas.

350 BC - AD 1000: Early African Iron Age
350 BC
Origins of earliest yet known Iron Age culture south of Sahara: Nok culture of Central Nigeria.
Early trans-Saharan trade, between Western Sudan and North Africa, by way of Berber middlemen, well established.
Rice cultivation well established in some western areas (Mandinka). Spread of early forms of forest agriculture.
Rise of the city and nearby satellites of Meroe as political and cultural centre of the Kushite Kingdom (formerly centred on Napata to the north).
Origins of Axumite culture in northeast Ethiopia by synthesis of local people and immigrants from southern Arabia.
Carthage a major power, though soon to be challenged by Roman Republic.
332 BC
Alexander enters Egypt: Ptolemaic dynasty follows.
