UAA Fundraiser and Pink Party Plans in motion

I just talked with Derek Dyer of Utah Art Alliance. They have some new studio spaces they have leased in a warehouse like space. Before they get all the walls up, it currently is a kick ass place for an event.

This would be a great opportunity to do a fund raiser for them and have some fun. Anyone interested in helping please contact me.

The date for the fundraiser is Saturday, Feb. 17. The theme will be the Pink Party in celebration of Valentine's day.

E11 and Burning Man art project birth

I have been kicking around an idea for a LED light and sound, interactive art project. I was inspired by a simple toy. I am planning to make this art for the E11 center camp '07 and playa placed art for BM'07. I am in the conceptual stages. More details to be announced. I would love for an opportunity to work with other artists, sound, media, electronic, technology oriented individuals to pull this thing together.

The toy is called the Mood Wave 100, colormotion light, made by HoMedics, but licensed by Color Kinetics Inc. I was turned on to it by a fire muse.

White Party 2006 is a wrap

Thank you all that helped make the White Party 2006 - White Psyche a huge success. It could not have been done without you all.
