I am really enjoying the classes Zahira! At first I thought it would be too big- there were so many people- but you're really good at communicating with everyone. I like the way you focus on one group of moves each class and incorporate what we've learned in the previous one. The way you move is inspiring, and you seem to be a very happy, grounded dancer. The last few classes especially have been challenging, learning moves I haven't done before in classes I've taken in the past. I'm looking forward to the next session already.

Re: Zahira's beginner classes
Tue, November 21, 2006 - 11:46 AMHi Velvet!
Thanks so much for your kind feedback! Your concern about class size was shared by many, I suspect. I am glad to have been able to mediate it successfully for you (and everyone, I hope). It's nice to have smaller classes, to connect with each individual and give enough feedback, but there is definitely a different energy with larger groups. I think both have their benefits. (I know many teachers will have well over 30 students in a class on a regular basis!)
Good news for those going into more challenging levels~ class size will shrink somewhat.
Again, thank you! I hope that I can continue to inspire you, just as you have inspired me:)
Your humble teacher always,
Zahira
