It was great: fun, and lots of progress. On the Saturday yard sale, I think the consensus was it was too much to do AND prepare for the party. Plus, I've got a bunch of stuff to sell, but not much time between now and then to sort it all out while going to work and scrambling for scaffolding and other camp needs.
Also -- and this is a heads up for everyone -- I'll be posting a spreadsheet by the end of the weekend with our budget and places for who's spent what so far, who's paid and received dues (BTW, everyone, WTF, pay your dues if you haven't spent money on the camp yet), and generally where we are. Please gather all this information and be ready to post it by Sunday night so we can figure out how badly off target we are, a reckoning that will inform our ongoing discussion about whether we're open to adding a few more camp members. There certainly are lots of people asking to join and we should start giving them answers by early next week. Extra consideration for anyone who can get us a great deal on scaffolding.
