Hi all!!

I hope that you are as excited as I am about the upcoming Kyle Rebel Alliance Jam in Boulder at The Fox on Dec 8th!! I just wanted to put a bee in your bonnet and let you know that we will be hosting an art gallery exhibit w/ Conscious Alliance at Good Thoughts Printing Studio before-during set break- and after the show. We are located under Half Fast Subs in the building that was The Cellar one block North of The Fox. On top of Scramble's super groovy art we will also have our specialty---lenticular (3D) art for sale. Also any Conscious Alliance poster that you might have missed purchasing at a past event will be there for your shopping/viewing pleasure. For anyone who saw the 3D Conscious Alliance posters at Sea of Dreams last year, Horning's Hideout this year, and The SCI Red Rocks run this summer ---that's us!! So please come and check out what we have going on! It's some pretty amazing stuff and it makes a super unique and fun holiday present. Hoop to see you there!

Soleside this weekend in Colorado!

Kyle has a new project called "soleside" which includes Speech from Arrested Development and DJ Logic debuting this weekend. The 3 of them will be backed by Ryan Jalbert (guitar) & Garrett Sayers (bass) both from the Motet & drummer Damien Hines.

String Cheese Incident keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth is already on the lookout for some new projects. His latest endeavor is known as soleside and also features Arrested Development's Speech and DJ Logic. The group has confirmed three Colorado shows for this spring: Ft. Collins' Aggie Theatre (5/17), Boulder's Cervantes Masterpiece (5/18), and Boulder's Fox Theatre (5/19). The three musicians are expected to be backed by a full band of yet to be announced musicians. As previously reported, String Cheese Incident will open its final tour with Bill Nershi at Bonnaroo this June.

So I ran into Billy at our Hotel in Denver and told him that I was running the Campaign Hollingsworth 08 and that we were looking for a viable candidate as his running mate, and Billy told me, "I'll be kyle's VP."
BTW that Galactic on Sat night in Denver was by far the best I have ever heard Kyle in my life. I had a Jedi experience and he kicked my ass with his Jedi finger tricks!!!!!!!!!! Kyle is my hero!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Other highlights at WC included the Valley of the Jig, Missin Me, Howard, so many more too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who knows if this is true or not, but someone who is *sometimes* in the know on the PT Board posted that Kyle is putting together an EAST COAST tour with DJ Logic this fall .. with the possible addition of a guitarist .. (maybe Ross Martin?). SWEET.

Kyle's Band

It has been apparent that SCI has been Kyle's band with Kangeroo on the side for years. So I say the band must go on without Billy Buzz Kill! This New Years it was obvious. Everytime they got going into that funky dance off party, Billy Buzz Kill stopped it. They don't need him to go on, and I think there was evidence that they will, no replacement just progression without him. His energy was gone from the beggining. Bye Bye Billy for he has already left, time for Kyle to take this band to where we all know and want them to go, without Billy Buzz Kill anymore. I loved Billy but this past weekend, he just got in the way!

One of the mostest rockinist incidents i've been to...Femi and company jam and dance with the cheese, and Kyle goes fuckin off. I think I was awake for like 3 days trying to win money from an Elvis slot machine...the Elvis' encore was a sure sign to me at the time to go put more money in that damn thing. I was wrong. This is a definite favorite, and not for the weak.

Rumor has it as well, Chris Berry is about to join Michael in Africa this week to begin the process of recording some indigenous african tribal music.
